I came here to shop for cosplay makeup knowing basically nothing (I don't typically wear much makeup). Aniyah helped us find what we needed, referencing the character picture we showed her and my own face. She even showed me how to contour my nose and tips for different products I can use to achieve various looks and styles for my cosplay. She was very thorough and very knowledgeable!! She had a solution for any problem I threw at her (i.e., "what if I get sweaty?" "what if I have bags under my eyes?" "What if my face breaks out due to my period?"). She also made me a Sephora profile and sent me all of the products we experimented with so that I didn't have to drop like a hundred dollars on the spot.
Next time I come back I will be asking for her help specifically :) normally I'm pretty intimidated in makeup stores but she made me feel welcome and comfortable

I’m posting this review because rarely do I receive the level of customer service, friendliness and respect from employees that I encounter in stores. I went to Sephora yesterday and I was a little confused about color matching and what products to buy, Erica saw the confusion on my face and came over to assist. Erica was so kind, patient and helpful! She color matched me and gave me samples to try. Even though the store was super busy and people were waiting to be assisted, she found someone to help each customer while still remaining with me until I had everything that I needed. Erica is top notch! I really appreciate her being a kind person and helping me figure out what products worked best for me. Thank you Erica!

Went in this afternoon to pick up perfume using a Christmas sampler certificate…not only did I receive zero assistance but when I went to the register I was met with a literal “let me see your certificate it might be from Kohl’s” umm okay kid not only can I read all the tattoos on your face I can also read the word Sephora on the certificate I just handed you. It was very much their tone moreso than what was said too. It’s always the purple haired heavily tattooed demanding kindness/acceptance but never offering any isn’t it. Wild

I have struggled with rosacea for as long as I can remember and I have had such a hard time finding makeup products that won't break me out. Yesterday I went in not expecting much, but Erica took my experience to another level! She was so thorough, caring, and informative and even provided me with a couple of options and samples to try at home as well as help my mom find some things she wanted. I have never had such a good experience with a beauty tech at any store and she did everything she could to make sure that I found products that I was happy with. Even after she had to leave for the day the other beauty techs picked up where we left off and gave great recommendations. I will definitely be back to this store in the future!
