I like that it's a locally owned small business. The folks there have always been courteous and helpful, as much as they could. It is a small store, however, so about half the time they don't have what I need. They have a large assortment of small hardware if you just need a few pieces, but I wouldn't go there to get a large quantity of anything. Their light bulb selection was a little limited. They have a small selection of a few lumber pieces, but generally I'd stick to hardware and tools.
They have an interesting selection of unique sodas. I usually stick to a few name-brand sodas, but I tried a couple and they were really good! I'll definitely be coming back here for a special soda treat every now and then.

Really a super experience at Barney’s. Reminds me of an old time full-service hardware store. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable…and pleasant. And they have a repair shop!!!!!!! The repair shop will knock your socks off!!!!!
