“I had a really great experience at Plato’s Closet! When I came in, it was very busy and the line was about 8 people long. I think I came in right during rush hour because a bunch of people walked in around the same time, lol. Even though it was busy and a little overwhelming the staff stayed calm and professional, which honestly helped me feel more at ease too. I dropped a couple items off at the counter for pricing, and Ava H. helped me. She specifically told me there were two Avas working, so I wanted to make sure I mentioned the right one. The other Ava was also very helpful too. They were so delightful, friendly, and Ava H had a big smile on her face, which made the experience feel so much better. I also saw a customer get upset/rude for being inpatient, which was stressful to witness, but the employees handled it really well and de-escalated the situation calmly. I’m not sure of their names, but one girl had short hair and glasses and the other had long brown hair. They both did a great job. Overall, the staff were great, I left feeling better than when I walked in, and I got a good deal on my two items. Whatever they’re making, double it, because it would be tragic to lose staff like this. Definitely recommend!”

“I absolutely love The Toasty Barker Boutique! This was my second visit, and once again I left with beautiful treasures and a great shopping experience.
When you go, you’ll find Jenny in her shop with a huge smile welcoming you. She is one of those people you instantly enjoy talking to for hours. You can tell how passionate she is about vintage pieces, and that passion shines through in every corner of the shop. It’s fun and eclectic vibe filled is with one-of-a-kind finds, beautiful vintage linens, and so many unique pieces, dresses, hats, shoes and knick knacks that have their own story to tell. Every time I visit, I discover so many special treasures.
What I appreciate most is that the prices are incredibly fair. You don’t feel like you’re shopping in an overpriced antique store. You feel like you’re treasure hunting and finding amazing deals. Shopping there feels personal, welcoming, and is genuinely fun, especially if you appreciate vintage items. If you don’t appreciate vintage items, then you need to. You have no idea what you’re missing out on I need to go see for yourself.

“I brought in some vintage clothing for the owner to evaluate and purchase. She helped me with parking since the area has limited parking with access to her store. She looked at my clothing in the parking lot and took many items, including some tee shirts with different logo's! I was disappointed in the monetary amount she offered for everything but took the offer since I didn't want it to be thrown out at Goodwill.”
