“I've always wanted to learn blacksmithing, and this place is exactly what I was looking for. Cassidy is a great teacher and taught me everything I'd need to know to make an S hook to my specifications. He let's you do everything yourself with his guiding eye in the background. This experience was so great, I'm considering getting a forge myself!”

“Looking for a unique memorable present/event? The Glass Asylum is a VERY organized art studio with helpful knowledgeable staff(want to say LINDY and Anthony? were our artisans) In same building as M Italian restaurant with very easy free valet parking. Sam, valet attendant is SUPER welcoming! Prices vary depending on selected piece, but average ~$100 per person. It’s a memorable cool piece that will last a lifetime. Better bang for buck in current economy in my opinion.”
“Jerry has designed and made a few pieces for us. He is very creative and gets excited about the pieces and wants them to be as perfect as possible.There was a glass backsplash for a prep sink. He made a beautiful colorful wavy diffuser for our kitchen. We moved and now it is in the foyer. Always gets compliments.He is now making hanging pieces to go over the kitchen island. The attention and care from Jerry has been wonderful about keeping us informed while also asking questions to ensure he understands what we want.”

“Very beautiful gallery. Mr. Wolf and his staff are extremely knowledgeable. You can have work appraised and buy works from the gallery. There is everything from medieval sculpture to turn of the century Cleveland and surrounding area specific paintings to modern works.”
“Important contemporary art space for the Cleveland scene. Nice intimate openings usually include artist presentations. Free to visit. Two spaces here with art--ask the gallery attendant to show you. Also visit the Artist Archives of the Western Reserve while you're here. They share the building.”
“As a newcomer to Cleveland, I've noticed how there's an abundance of colorful murals throughout the region. Many of these have been organized by Graffiti HeArt, a non-profit that promotes "street" art by connecting artists with sponsors (often building owners) on commissioned projects.This particular spot is a rehabilitated building now serving as the organization's headquarters. Outside, you'll find rainbow-hued "Beautifully Destroyed" gracing this cornerfront venue. The colors aren't unintentional, as they speak to the organization's inclusivity. Inside is a two-level gallery and museum that I was fortunate to visit as part of a private event.Whether it's this space in particular that serves as an event venue for other non-profits, or the organization itself, which helps local artists and adds a dash of color to neighborhoods all around the region, Graffiti HeArt is a fabulous addition to the area's cultural landscape.”
“What a nice little gallery! I was surprised to see a gift shop for half of the place (saved my bacon for Christmas) to go along with the finer arts/photography/sculptures, and the staff were super helpful and accommodating.
Being right next to the movie theatre, it wasn't a bad way to spend a Sunday.”
“Tara Seibel has an amazing gallery in Little Italy. She features mostly her own illustrations and paintings and also includes some pieces from other local artists. She’s got handmade jewelry and crochet items as well. There’s something for everyone!”
“Looking at building from the street, parking lot is to the left of it. Free parking. Enter through door closest to it. There are stairs to go up. Galleries and boutique shops. I visited Bolt and Spool fabric, needlework and notions. Took me forever to find the place. It is not obvious that it is inside the galleries.”
“Swung by Contessa Gallery at Eton today, and honestly it’s a blessing to have something like this in Woodmere. The whole space carries itself with ease: clean, curated, and quietly confident. Anthony brought the kind of energy that made it feel less like I was browsing and more like I was in conversation with the art itself. There’s something special about seeing culture presented with care and real intention right here in the neighborhood!”
“What a lovely surprise this gallery turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome—no pretentious attitude, just genuinely kind and helpful woman who clearly care about both the art and the experience of their visitors.
The space itself is bright and inviting, with a fantastic mix of styles and mediums. There’s something for every taste here—from contemporary pieces to more whimsical works that made us smile. It was refreshing to browse a gallery where you didn’t feel like you had to whisper or “know art” to enjoy what was on the walls.
One of the best things about this gallery is the wide range of price points. Whether you’re a serious collector or just looking to bring home a unique piece for your space, you’ll find something here. The staff were more than happy to answer questions, share the stories behind a few of the artists, and offer suggestions without ever making us feel pressured to buy.
It’s clear that this gallery values accessibility and community, and that made all the difference. A truly enjoyable visit—we’ll definitely be back!”

Even when he is not interested in what I have to sell, he will be very professional and super nice about it. The store has many beautiful and unusual pieces .
