i typically have a decent experience with this DG - the store is clean, well organized and easy to navigate. The issue I have with this place is the employees locking the front doors in my face an hour before closing. Not only is it rude, but it’s incredibly frustrating to not be able to get what I need

I went to find a cat scooper... I got distracted by how much daily stuff they have. In general, they have everything you need to make breakfast, which includes the cooking equipment. All the things you need true out the day, and to get ready to go to bed. They also have some outdoor gardening equipment. I talked to the employee there at the time. I asked how often their fresh products get rotated? They said every week. I hope they understand I will check to make sure they do that. So, expect an update in a week or two. They are having a 5$ off if you spend more than 25$ on Sep 14 2024; they have those twice a month if I heard that right. Anyways I loved the first experience I had at dollargeneral, friendly staff, clean aisles, well stocked. Some shelves were empty, but it was probably from condensing their products, but the store is fully stocked when I was there. I took pictures of most ailes, so go look at them and their prices.

Unorganized store. Hours are UNRELIABLE. I had to pick up medicine after I got off work and the hours are false people just stood inside looking at me. I hate this place

I went to make a large purchase and system was not working properly and was not taking any coupons on a busy Saturday. Also was in line for 45 minutes to have to pay full price for half my order while I left the rest. The cashier just said "oh well what do you want me to do they need to hire me help" this is just unacceptable

The website says they open at 8 am I was in the parking lot along with others for 15 minutes I called several times when I got home and no answerFamily Dollar was open at 8 when I passed their store by so it’s probably my fault that I passed it over l will stick to reliability

This place is never opened during times stated. Staffing is always understaffed and the few times it is opened the checkout registers don't work. Save your time and gas find somewhere else.

Went to the store to get chips and a 1 dollar pepsie. Young man at counter always very nice and respectful. But, got in my car and noticed I had overpaid for the pop. Almost double. The shelf price had said 1 dollar but, I was charged 1.95. Went back in the store and young lady at the counter said the young man had just left. I was told the price went up a few days ago. I asked for a refund. I had my receipt, Young lady refused. Stated she didn't know how to give a refund. The other female employee said she would, but the young lady cut her off and said she didn't know how either. She insisted that I come back the next day and get the refund from their manager. I told her I live in akron, and wasn't going to come back the next day. Said she would call the cops if I didn't. I'm 70 y.o. She said I was just a cheap old woman. Never going in that store again.

The cashier was polite and helpful and I usually like coming to this location. I don’t know what’s going with this store now but it is an absolute mess. It’s dirty and messy. A lot of items don’t even have prices on the shelves.
