“My favorite wine store in the area. All wines stored properly, and a staff that cares about helping people find the perfect wine. A must if you love wine and are in the area!”

“Very nice, friendly people. Great beer selection. I'd probably give this store only three stores because there's so much product with no pricing on the shelves or product, and some of the prices are considerably higher than other prices in the area, but I like the lady there enough that I'll add another star, which makes four.”

“This is THE Italian grocery, bakery and hot food deli in the CLE. It has a robust wine department, a dedicated olive counter, and a wide selection of imported foods as well as their own branded foods. It is a smaller store that is easy to navigate, but it can get very crowded around the holidays and lunch hour. Gallucci’s is a Cleveland institution that dates back to the old Central Market (where Progressive Field now stands) and it is a must stop if you are shopping for authentic Italian imports or looking for an old school Italian grocery store.”

“Nice people, two sets of docks both with lanes to pull forward into so its basically a straight back. Appt only but I got to a door an hour early, luck of the draw.”

“Dependable store that is our current go-to for craft beer because of the location, and management is always friendly even when we walked in 15 minutes until closing without realizing how late it was. Clean and organized store with its own parking lot. There are plenty of spaces and it's on a residential street so there's always somewhere to park.I've discovered a few new breweries here that have become favorites, so I can't fault the selection. It's not as broad as other shops, but it feels less overwhelming and there's going to be something for everyone. A small note for management: it would be nice if there were more prices visible on some of the six packs, but the pricing overall is very agreeable and the more expensive bottles are all clearly labeled. My only other criticism - which is hardly worth knocking a star off but is a personal thing - is that I wish they carried Mikkeller because it was a favorite brewery from my old beer shop and I miss being able to buy it easily. If they got some Mikkeller in stock, 6/5 stars.”

“Knowledgeable clerk behind the cash register. He was able to tell me about when they have their bourbon release. How to follow them on Instagram. There’s easy parking. It’s in a great location.”

“Deli 4 less from the outside looks like it's typical convenient store. One would not think they sell food. They have some amazing sub sandwiches made on site. They remind me of ones I get in NY at a bodega. Super satisfied. I order the veggie delight sub and the ingredients are all fresh. Do not skip out on the house oil. They should bottle and sell it. Simply delicious. Service is amazing and friendly as well. Super clean for a corner store also. You have a repeat customer for sure when I'm in the area. Skipping subway and headed here.”

“The specials all sounded really good. I got a pineapple margarita, fried onion with fried breaded green beans in a citrus soy glaze, general tso breaded chicken sandwich and onion rings with a killer horseradish dipping sauce. Everything was great. Service was busy and working on closing the kitchen so they were a little distracted but still very friendly. Definitely recommend trying this place.”

“Small restaurant with a limited, but tasty and reasonably priced menu with a spattering of unique offerings. Perfect for a quick bite & some wine. I hear their ribs are great, but we weren't hungry enough for that. AJ was very helpful recommending something light & quick (they were closing in 40 minutes) for dinner. He suggested an Italian wine which my husband said was fantastic. Food was made to order with attentive service. They have a large wine menu and an amazing selection of wines by the bottle in the adjoining room. We will come back on a Saturday for their rib special.”

“A foodie's paradise. The sea bass was wonderful and the spare rib was great.. and huge. Great wine selection, great service, happy employees who know the food and the menu. So far the best we've had in Cleveland. Check out Nemo for a truly top-shelf dining experience.”

“I have taken interest with bourbon over the past year. As a customer of dozens of liquor stores, and frequent participant in the OHLQ special events, I can say that Pat O'Briens is unmatched compared to any other liquor store I have ever shopped nationwide. The employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and organized regardless of the pandemonium that may be taking place at any given time. Even when hundreds of bourbon chasers are waiting in line outside, employees like Heidi shows equal respect to each customer, and provides genuine customer service. The past OHLQ release event that took place on December 11th was pulled off flawlessly by this store for being organized, and true to their customers. Unfortunately, certain liquor stores owned locally in Cleveland either abuse the liquor laws, or pick favorites with certain customers on who has the opportunity to shop for rare allocated bourbons. That is not the case with POB. They are fair, honest and clearly operate their business with integrity. POB is iconic for being a small locally owned family business in our community. I would rather give POB a portion of my paycheck for a product over any other store in town. This local business loves it customers, and has hard earned this positive review based on countless times they have provided me excellent service. Thank you POB!”

“They have an amazing selection and the staff are knowledgeable about whiskey. You can drink cheap or expensive here.Parking: Open parking lot. Free, plenty of space unless the bar is literally full.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or ramps. I don't have a wheelchair but if I did I can't think of any issue I would have including restrooms.”

“Not a huge store, but they manage to cram in quite a few craft beers! The staff was knowledgeable, and liked to talk beer, which is always a plus in my book!! Pop in, if you are in the neighborhood and you're looking for some decent beers. Cheers to that!!”

“Keg pickup was so easy! Rochelle helped us at keg sales and was so kind. Then we went into the warehouse and the forklift operator went to get our keg then brought it out and loaded it into our car. 5 minutes total. Everything was organized and clean!”

“This place has a wide variety of wines, liquor, beer, etc. If you can't find it anywhere else, they probably have it here. Very nice staff and it's very clean. This is also a great spot if you're having a party and want to purchase larger quantities of things, as they have shopping carts and provide boxes. They also have a nice variety of mixers and general supplies for making and consuming drinks.”

“First time i was in there. Has a descent selection for a small liquor store. But busy and 1 person taking care of customers. I don't think they thought it would be that busy that early.”

“Very friendly staff and nice selection of liquor and wine and mixers. Parking is readily available right on Chagrin, right in front of the store or across the street. They sell cigarettes and lottery tickets and some snacks like chips and beef jerky, too.”

“I just got a RARE bottle of Buffalo Trace here....its like finding treasure! Good place to come and shop for booze and good price.I notice some folks talking about how mayfield heights has changed and rude customer service etc etc... I would disagree. I think the folks are very helpful and chill. Stop acting like you are on your fine dining tinder date or going to the museum - get your booze from a great selection and price and be on your way! lol”

“Liquor store . Only one in in are. Too many begging zombies outside, prices are reasonable, staff could be in more helpful if they haven't conversations with each other and act like you a bother. But All in all it's cool. I go there frequently.”

“It was a Monday evening, a school night. It had been a long day at work and all I wanted was one specific beverage: a pear cider made from 100% pears. I went to Giant Eagle: no dice and more importantly, no pear cider. I checked in with the local bevvy mart down the road. Did they have pear cider? Yes. Was it made from 100% pears? The woman behind the counter ran up and down the aisles for several minutes before announcing, "33% pear." What an utter horror show. She didn't even bother to share what made up the other 66 (ish) percent. Now, I am from England and I don't like driving extravagant distances so the thought of a road trip from Macedonia to Independence weighed on me heavily. Regardless, I committed to the mission and headed off to Independence Beverage. I had no idea if they could help me nor did I have the foresight to call them and ask about their pear-based inventory. After several long minutes and at least four turns, I arrived. I approached the counter and got to the point. "Give it to me straight!" I was about to clarify my request but was quickly asked, "like pear cider?" You could have knocked me down with a poorly constructed, baseless rumor. "Made from 100 pears?" I inquired? I don't remember the answer but I do remember becoming a loyal customer. The best pear-related customer service any of us could hope for. Recommended.”
