Just got done with an incident with this GameStop. My husband had pre-ordered Skull & Bones, received a reminder call on Tuesday 2/6/24 to pick up his copy this Friday 2/9/24. He picked it up today 2/10/24... as soon as he got home, he opened it and put it in the PS5 to download, which is what you do with a hard copy game when you've been waiting so long for its release. Not long after that he received a call from the store saying he needed to return it, since it wasn't to be released until 2/16/24... after 4 phone calls and being threatened with the police being called, calling him a thief, he did return the game to the store. The manager and him got a pretty heated argument about who's fault it was. His copy is back at the store with a note that it's his opened copy... when I go to get it, I'll be inspecting it for damage. So disappointed since we've given this store a lot of business over the years to be treated so poorly when it wasn't a mistake on his part but the new, apparently poorly-trained staff. Will not be returning to this store after picking up his copy that better not be damaged when I get it in his place.

Used to spend a lot of money here. They are a scam when you try to bring trades in. My son wanted to trade his old Xbox systems to get the latest. I threw in my PS4 so he could get a better deal. (So I thought) All systems worked before taking in to store. Was told that all 3 wouldn't power on so we got less money! I accepted the deal (lol. Deal) because my son really wanted the newer Xbox. Better off selling your items on Facebook marketplace.

Haven't been to a gamestop in a year or so. First time I try to go back. They have a handwritten sign saying we will be gone from 4pm to 4:40pm. Last time I'll make that trip. Ridiculous

I use to visit this store all the time. Now I will never go back. The employee I spoke with was very unhelpful and rude. I asked about a 2ds XL and he said "Good luck finding it anywhere." I then asked why there website advertised it. He said in case they get any in so they can sell it. That is false advertisement.

Gamestop has made crazy amounts of improvements, since new management took over 5 months ago. Totally different store, with a way wider selection online (they have bikes now).
