“We were members of St. John 30 years ago and returned today for a visit. They have added some interior design features (stained glass and statues including one of Pope John Paul and also one of Mother Teresa. The priest, Fr. Barry is quite entertaining and the church seems to still have that welcoming, friendly spirit that we cherished when we were parishioners.”
“Always the perfect atmosphere and the music is great. Father Lowe is precise with his homilies and celebration of the Liturgy Mass is never dragged out.As far as our ability the expansive room is really meant for music, with its significant Holtkamp organ, large choir loft, and room for a major Orchestra and/or choir around the altar and a room that opens up to the altar, a former Franciscan Cloister Chapel, that they no use as a crying room.Listening to spoken dialogue is somewhat of a challenge as the room reverberates greatly and any garbled speech can become lost.The overall experience is is very positive.”
