These are some of the most caring people I've ever met in my life, period. When it comes to my animal care I will never go anywhere else, they are always willing to work with me on treatment plans and take care of my babies from my rabbit to my German shepherd and every critter in between, they have always given us the absolute best care. I can't thank the staff enough for helping my rabbit be comfortable in her final days and taking extra care for my dogs ear infections, to checking my chinchilla babies with the most gentle of care. They are so worth the drive if you aren't close, make your appointment today to get your babies established here.

They're good to come to however, they are only open 3 days a week and usually close one of those two days. When I do bring my dogs in I am usually waiting an hour before seeing anyone. But the staff treat my dogs very well. Due to it being very difficult to ever get in I will probably be switching vets.

The staff is lovely and the Vet is young but nice. I gave only 2 stars because their business model of not faxing/emailing over prescriptions directly to the customer is really, really inconvenient. The customer should not have to make a special trip into Berea to pick up a piece of paper. Not all of us live in the city of Berea, and even though I've complained about this in the past, they still refuse to be more accommodating.

It’s a small establishment but everyone who works there seems to really care about our pets. Dr. Alice has proven to be compassionate yet practical, offering her thoughts and advice even outside of an appointment when we had a very sick kitty. She is a very intelligent and caring veterinarian.

i’ve been seeing this vet for about 7 years now! they’ve had a rough past 2 years with their vet being out and covid, but they always make sure my pets are taken care of! i live in brookpark and a still bring my ferrets and cat here. They always make sure they aren’t missing anything with my pets and have helped my ferrets multiple times as well as Metropolitan pet hospital incase of a late night emergency. If you have exotic pets or pets who have health issues a lot this vet is a good place to go to have specialized treatment. The hours are tricky but that’s why if i have an emergency i go to metropolitan or barberton vet hospital. (also amazing places)
My mothers dog also had cancer, there wasn’t much we could do other than sedation but in her last weeks metro made sure to give us medicine to keep her comfortable which was very kind.
Plus the vet techs are so kind and love seeing my ferrets and cat, i trust them alone with my pets.

Came here for years absolutely loved it but when it came down to coming in for actual health issues other then their shots and check ups they fell short. I brought it my dog months ago for mouth pain and they didn’t really take initiative to figure out what it was never gave me a diagnosis just said that she may be gotten into chemicals of some kind, even though we don’t have clean supplies just lying around. They just gave us pain meds and antibiotics. That seemed to help for like a month or 2 but We ended up taking her to another clinic months later because she was getting worse they actually took the initiative to figure out what was wrong with her and gave me an actual diagnosis and treatment (It was something called CUPS) but now she’s going to lose alot of her teeth and I couldn’t help but think that if metropet could’ve diagnosed it earlier if we could’ve saved them.
We were planning on changing to this new vet for a long time since it was closer to our new address and when I called MetroPet to have my dogs file transferred the receptionist gave me an attitude, which was very surprising, because this place was always very kind.

Requested an appointment for my kitten that I recently adopted from the animal protection league, and they declined my appointment request saying that they are "currently not taking on any new clients." Just a heads up for anybody interested in finding a new vet, this is not the one!

They saw my dog for emergency when I couldn't get her in my Vet. My dog loves her. She caught things my Vet missed.

I used to absolutely praise this clinic. I thought their prices were fair, their staff was competent, and they were reasonable with their scheduling options. My opinion has changed in the past year. Two separate vets failed to diagnose a simple issue that a google search ended up answering. Their hours of operation have become more limited than they used to be which makes it almost impossible schedule without missing work. Not to mention the fact that they jump at any tiny opportunity to charge you. They have added more charges for visits with techs that they did not used to have. And the biggest reason I am unhappy with their services: in August I was told my cat was fully up to date on vaccinations until August of 2024, come to find out they missed the fact that he needed his FeLV shot in October. I didn't know any of this until another clinic where I am boarding my cat informed me. This is a significant thing to miss, and it is in my opinion unacceptable and shows a lack of attention to detail. Given also the fact that they're booking appointments out months and months in advance, I would just save your time and money and find another clinic.
