“My experience at this location has been terrific. I'm not one to leave reviews often but I need to after the above and beyond service given by Jonaitus at this location. He and his manager helped minimize my mistake when I botched an online order (for about half of the rooms in our house). They went above and beyond to make use of the paint I had ordered and to limit my costs to get the paint I actually needed.They will shake unopened paint for free so the paint is ready to go. Very convenient when you buy in bulk/ahead of time during one of their 35% or 40% off sales. Also a great opportunity to ask questions or get recommendations while you wait.”

“Update 1/17/23: Manager Tiffany called a few hours after I picked up the part and said they realized their mistake and apologized profusely for not double-checking the order before it was picked up. She not only personally dropped off the correct part at our home that evening, but gave us a $20 gift card as well and another profuse apology. Well done! Upgraded review from 1 to 4 stars.Original review: Ordered Delta faucet cartridge for curbside pickup. Followed the pick up directions per the email. When I pulled up to the store and called them, I was left on hold for four minutes while they attempted to find my order that I had only placed three hours before that. Eventually, I simply went into the store, found out they were still trying to find it, although it was sitting in a bag right on the shelf with their other (few) pick up orders the entire time. Got home with the bag only to discover that there's nothing on this package that matches what I ordered. It was supposed to be the original Delta part, but it's an American Standard not compatible at all. I have been into the store a handful of other times over the years and never once have I ever felt like anyone in there actually wanted to help me find anything. Put up with it for expediency, living right in Avon Lake, but I think after today I am officially done. Well, after I return this part...”

They can get commercial coatings which is extremely useful if you have a specific product you want for all of your projects.”

“I've always liked a well stocked hardware store. They always seem to have the fittings, fasteners, hardware, oddball tool and a myriad of painting supplies. This ACE hardware store is no exception. You can wander around and browse or can be helped immediately by trained, experienced staff. Unlike the big box stores, there are folks available AND knowledgeable and familiar with the store inventory. In our city, a road widening project wiped out our only hardware store and it's greatly missed.”

He is super knowledgeable and walked me through what I needed for concrete scraping and painting; getting paint out of my car seats (!!!!!); and doing some ceiling work. The sales associate, whose name I didn't get, listened to me as I described the lack of light and my desire to coordinate with my existing living room color. He grabbed several sample cards and made recommendations of colors he'd used. I selected 2 sample cans to bring home to try. You will definitely pay more for their paint but their employees and paint far outshine those of other stores.”
