I received a set of headers for an LT4 in a 69 Camaro Roadster Shop chassis and am really impressed with the quality of the headers. Great fitment, which is a hard thing to come by at times with LS/LT swaps. Cant wait to hear it come to life. The folks on their team know their stuff, I highly recommend calling or emailing in to order if you have a specific fitment you are after. 10/10 experience, they will be my go to with future builds from here on out.

So, I purchased a set of these headers with cats as a recommendation from a car friend.
Well, after running into major fitment issues, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I spoke with them, and at first, I thought they were going to take care of me in regard to these issues . Well, I was sadly mistaken . After about 7 emails back and forth with the issues, the company literally ghosted me.
Issue #1, the passenger side header.
The front cylinder flange was welded a quarter of an inch to high. So it had to be cut it loose and pulled down to be mounted.
Issue #2 is the driver's side header . The rear mounting hole would not even line up had to be gound out to fit.
Issue # 3: Once I dealt with issues 1 and 2, the header on the drivers side was nearly 2 inches longer than the passenger side. Well, I rolled the dice and cut that header down, hoping
It would fix the issue. Fortunately, my gamble paid off and was able to remount my exhaust...
The worst part of this is ultimate header would not even talk to the 3rd party company I purchased them from. I will say this the 3rd party company was amazing and actually refunded me $500 of my purchase price for my problems.
So, in closing, don't purchase these headers if you're not mechanically inclined. Or don't buy them at all, just a terrible product, and customer service doesn't exist

Fantastic team that specializes in header design and fabrication. I've been consistently working with UH and their crew (Jim Jr, Corey, etc) and have been very happy with their service and pricing. Lead times are good and Jim will work with you if you need something sooner. The entire team is very flexible and will suit your needs. I've purchased over 20 sets of headers for my projects and all have been top notch and are a custom design from me.
Jim and Corey, thank you so much for your help and great customer care. I can always count on Ultimate Headers to help me out and fix anything that comes up, even if it was my mistake. I look forward to continuing to work with UH on my next set of custom headers!

These headers are complete Garbage. They cost the company 2 to 3 hundred dollars to build them if that including labor and parts and they sell for 1500 to 2000. Nothing fits customer service is also terrible . Do not buy these headers

I was building a custom F100 with a LS3 sitting on a No Limit Engineering chassis. I was concerned that an off the shelf header was not going to work for my unique application. So I spoke with Jim and he was very helpful and recommended a set of their close fitting headers. The fit was perfect. There isn't any clearance issues, and they shipped out about a month sooner than I was expecting them. Everything I needed to install the headers was in a very well packaged box. ARP bolts, and Cometic gaskets were included with the clamps and O2 bungs. The cast iron grey ceramic coating is beautiful. I couldn't be happier.

Jim, and the entire crew at Ultimate headers build a great Product and always go the extra Mile to be sure you are happy with the product. As a shop owner it is great when another company stands behind there product. Every time I get a set of these headers it amazes me how well they fit, when a lot of other headers just don't fit around Parts like a steering box or they hang way too low. If you are looking for headers that fit and flow great these are the headers you want.

WOW, I can not say enough about these folks. I had a fairly unique situation with my personal 1969 Camaro. I own an automotive business and we have been in business since 1970. We were having header issues due to an update with the steering system. The steering company referred me to Ultimate headers. I called and explained my situation to Jim and boy did he have the answers. He was very helpful and I feel went out of his way to help. I received a set of his headers today and they are freakin awesome and a piece of art. Fit my application like a glove. I could go on but trust me nicest well made headers EVER !

Hi Folks. I have a 2018 Mustang GT with aTremec Magnum XL 6 speed. I bought a set of Headers from Ultimate. The installer got a hold of Jim from Ultimate, told him about some fitment issues with my car and Ultimate sent a couple techs to Detroit to fix the problem. Seems The issues were not the headers, they fit great. The issue was the mid pipe, because the Tremec Magnum XL 6 speed is actually a longer transmission than the stock manual 6 speed (MT82d4) that was original equipment. So the 2 techs made new mid pipes & adjusted the driver side header near the steering rod. This is GREAT Customer support!! And the quality of their work is top notch!! I Highly Recommend Ultimate Headers For Anyone Thinking About Upgrading their S550 Mustangs exhaust. Very Pleased With This Product!

I would suggest that anyone interested in accurate, prompt service with detailed engineering STAY AWAY from Ultimate Headers!! They took 2 long years to provide me with dented headers that still don't fit correctly. They also billed me $2,467 for these nothing fancy headers that took 2 years for them to cobble together. Nice folks - but don't know what they are doing !!
