When it comes to my animal care I will never go anywhere else, they are always willing to work with me on treatment plans and take care of my babies from my rabbit to my German shepherd and every critter in between, they have always given us the absolute best care. I can't thank the staff enough for helping my rabbit be comfortable in her final days and taking extra care for my dogs ear infections, to checking my chinchilla babies with the most gentle of care. “I cannot say enough about Dr. Saxton and this clinic. Our dog is 4 years old and he can be very nervous around new people and places. Last year when I took him to our old vet, he was anxious and the vet treated him like he was dangerous and aggressive, when all he needed was a little positive reassurance and some treats to let him know that everything was okay. This year, I took a leap of faith based on the online reviews and called Big Creek to schedule an appointment for him. I was immediately put at ease by the kind vet tech who scheduled his appointment--she was so understanding of Dug's nervousness and scheduled us for the Olmsted Falls location since it's smaller and has less traffic. When it was time for Dug's appointment, everyone at Big Creek was so sweet to him. He was still nervous, but they did so much to put him at ease and were so kind and patient throughout his checkup. He loved the staff and gave them all some kisses for being so gentle and patient with him. We both are looking forward to future visits, and I cannot recommend this vet and Dr Saxton enough, especially for pet owners with nervous nellies ❤️ Thank you all so much for being so wonderful to me and my boy ❤️”
“I found Bartels while vacationing a few yrs back I have never left my Laya overnight anywhere and certainly not with strangers,after careful research choosing a resort I felt comfortable enough to leave my baby in their care , I came across Bartels they offered all the amenities I was looking for Laya was only in their care a few days, but I was able to give her comfort in her own suite and best part was being able to look in on her with a camera available in her suite, that was the most comforting. Laya was roughly 10yrs of age at this time, shortly after her stay I made an appointment on the clinic side to have her routine checkup and 4yrs later Dr. Mitzy has been her vet ever since,She is very kind, smart, and always explained every detail of Layas care so I would understand,she was therough with her care plan ,and always gave us both what we needed , answering all my questions and looking out for Layas best interest, she has overseen Layas care from treating Laya for dementia, overseeing her aging and never over looking an issue. I trusted her answers, and diagnosis as over the years she has been spot on, recently, Layas last visit I was told she had eye cancer,spinal cancer, declining kidneys,ETC..It was hard to accept,and alot to take in,over the past few weeks, everything Dr, Mitzy said was going to happen, HAPPENED, she started declining very rapidly,Dr,Mitzy was always there when I called and she did her very best to make sure my Laya was as comfortable as possible.Yesterday September 25th, I ended my Layas suffering, not wanting her to experience more pain than she already was,If it wasn't for Dr, Mitzy caring for Laya over the past few years I know she would not have lived this long, I am Grateful for her,and for giving me a few extra yrs of love and memories with my baby! Good doctors are hard to come by,and I was lucky to find her so late in Layas life but just when we needed her the most she came right on time!! Thank you Dr, Mitzy for all you've done for Laya and I keeping my baby with me just a little longer.!! You are our angel.!! And you'll never know how much I appreciate you and Thank you for being the Best!! ??R.I.H my princess Layagyrl 2011-2024.mommy will love you forever and always!?”

“Hinckley Animal Hospital vets are the best in examining and taking care of our pets Lucky and Ralph with full compassion. They really are thorough in diagnosing their health issues and treating their needs. Drs'. Kalo, Skavdahl, and Reinhart really know what they're doing. And our pets simply love and are completely at ease with them. They don't push or suggest any unnecessary tests which they may not need. We really appreciate their educational advice. The entire vet tech staff that we've met are also extremely knowledgeable and caring. Highly recommend this animal clinic to anyone who needs caring medical attention for their pets. The best vets we've ever had.”

“I’d like to say this woman is doing the lords work. A euthanasia at a big corporate hospital in the area is about 400$. Exam fees are insane and blood work is high too, will easily be over 1,000. She is being a champion for her profession by trying to make vet care accessible. Literally she is mobile. Quit expecting veterinarians to have crystal balls. And quit expecting services to be free. Even parents of babies in the NICU get a bill.A kitten can develop kidney failure in a few days. How is a weight helpful if there is no medical hx and the cat has a good body composition and no meds are prescribed. Quit comparing it to human medicine.You’re amazing Dr! Keep on being great.NOMV”
