“I had a perfect experience. I had to take my cat because I was concerned about her sudden weight loss. We were new there and even arrived 10 minutes late (I made a wrong turn). They saw Bella quickly, she is normally a skittish cat but she was so comfortable. We were assured that Bella would be ok, she received all of her necessary vaccines, the procing was reasonable, and everyone was so pleasant. I am so glad that I was referred to this animal hospital. “Would HIGHLY recommend! This was our first visit to Small Miracles. We made “well” appointments for our two dogs in April. Two days before our appointment, this passed Wednesday, our older dog’s health went downhill quickly. Dr. Chorba and her staff were amazing. We ended up making the decision to put him down with the help of Dr. Chorba. She explained in detail what she felt was going on and gave us time to discuss our options. They took us into a very calming room (spa-like) with a couch for the dogs to lay on and two chairs. The whole staff was extremely compassionate on a very sad day for us.”

“(Edit: beginning is obvi satire, happy pet is amazing) 🚨 WARNING - Do NOT go here if you want your aging, slowing pet to revert to a more youthful, noisy, boisterous, energetic, and overall visibly happier version of themselves.

We brought our 12 year old cat here after he had lost one of his canines and I was worried about any potential infection. We were able to be seen within a day or two of initial appointment request. Dr. Perez discussed transparent pricing for teeth cleaning and any extractions. Our cat was admitted the next week and ended up needing 2 additional infected teeth extracted (don’t forget your Greenies y’all).

After, we thought he would be touchy or resentful for the intrusion. He was SO HAPPY. Figure 8s around our legs, rolling on the ground, following us around. A couple months later, he has extended late night zoomies, shouts at us relentlessly for fancy feast, treats, and pets, and constantly is under foot or pawing for attention.

So yeah. If you don’t want your cat to basically revert to kitten hood, avoid this vet and their insanely friendly, funny staff.”

“Just had to give a great review to Dr Hill and his staff at Columbia animal clinic. My family has gone to this vet clinic for so many years even before he took ownership. I inherited my parents cat after they passed and it was time for her to cross over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Hill was so kind and caring. His assistant was wonderful as well. It was just peaceful and I can't thank them enough.”

“My 9 pound Shih Zhu became very ill. An appointment was made and Lucy was taken in. The end result was she was at her end of her life. Dr. KATIE , Selena, and the other vet tec's were extremely wonderful and very caring to my family and myselfs needs. They explained everything gave me options and were vary honest about Lucy's health and her outcome. They DIDNT try and take money from for bloodwork or exrays that had no bareing on Lucy's outcome. End result Lucy was very very ill. We made the choice to help Lucy cross the doggy rainbow bridge. Selena stayed with us the entire time giving us kind words.
Even though my day was a very hard and painful day this Vet Clinic made my experience very comfortable.
I recommend this Vet Clinic to everyone. My Lucy crossed the doggy rainbow bridge on May 7th, 2026.
Other Vet clinics need to learn how too treat there clients like I was treated today.

“Since the very beginning of 2023 I've had an outstanding and amazing doctor, Dr. Mitzi Laubli, who brought my kitty back to health in certain areas, scheduled very detailed, and accurate tests, which resulted more reasonable than other locations. Staff was compassionate, knowledgeable and very helpful. Dr. Mitzy gave me amazing and helpful suggestions, went way out of her way to suggest the very best scientific supplements on the market, and even told me why she suggested them for my kitty's ailments and sometimes even responded on weekends with what I perceived as urgent matters. I couldn't be more supportive and grateful to this hospital, doctors and staff. In fact I am beyond grateful because there wasn't anyone else out there or hospital out there that would have totally cured her of certain conditions. It's been 3 years without a single hairball. She was vomiting hairballs every couple of weeks before I came here. Now nothing! That is truly unbelievable and totally amazing. Who does that!? Really! And that's just the beginning of my amazing experience here at this hospital. And during these years, I have experienced nothing but outstanding medical support, especially for cats, that I wouldn't have found in a million years in any other place. That's the truth.”

“Dr Nicki came to our home to help place our 14 year old silver lab Marley to sleep. It was a heartbreaking decision. She and her team were more than affordable kind and before they left with Marley she was so compassionate. She gave us time alone with him to say our goodbyes for one last hug and kiss. “This is truly a phenomal place. I have never in my life been to a pet hospital where they care the way Porter cares. It all started on Sunday when i had to bring my cat to the emergency vet due to peeing blood. He ended up having a bladder stone that needed removed. Northviews estimate for surgery was $2500-$4000. My care credit is at its limit due to his heart condition and echos every 6 months. I told them I could not proceed with the surgery due to funds, and I would see if another clinic could do it a bit cheaper. I’ve heard many good things about Porter Pet Hospital and decided to give them a call on Tuesday. They got my info and said they could get me in 2 days later on Thursday!- This is totally unheard of! They prioritized him and his situation and got him quick! I am forever grateful. Also- they were willing to do this surgery at a FRACTION of the price that Northview estimated! I was so relieved because I knew my boy Mowgli was in a lot of pain- even on the pain medicine he seemed very uncomfortable. They never kept me in the dark and explained everything extremely thoroughly. They also called and asked if they could spit shine his teeth real quick because surgery had went so well! I was so surprised and thankful.
They were so outstanding and never made me feel silly when I asked many questions about the surgery risk because of his heart condition. They put my mind at ease and never made me feel like I shouldn’t be asking these questions- how some other clinics have been in the past. Every single staff member is an angel. You can tell just how much they love animals & how extremely kind and patient they are. Even with being busy they never made me feel like I was an inconvenience for calling and checking on my boy during the process. If i could give this place 10 stars I would. They went above and beyond which is rare to find these days!! They are absolutely phenomenal and I will never bring my pets anywhere else ever again. I will forever be loyal to Porter ! ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“We've been to Animal and Avian in the past and been pleased so it made sense to go to them when we got a dog recently. I was a good experience. Dr. Wilson and Chelsea were very calming for our anxious girl, Sugar. Both ladies are very knowledgeable and helped us learn training techniques for our reactive dog who is a rescue. They did a thorough physical exam and made suggestions regarding feeding and maintaining a healthy weight. Animal and Avian Medical Center was clean, had a spacious waiting room and pleasant staff. It will be our "go to" for Sugar.”

“My cat has been seen here before for due to her related health issues and normal check ups. Usually see Dr. Curren but she was off on Friday January 13th so Dr. Kokochak saw my cat. She was wonderful and very thorough as she took so much time discussing my cat's history and the reason for the visit. She listened and answered all of my questions and concerns as my cat had not been eating or drinking for two days and was very listless. The staff here is very caring and helpful. I was very pleased that I was able to get a same day appointment as I really didn't want to have to take her to an ER. I had been coming here for many years for care for my other cats as well. Due to the great care by Dr. Kokochak my cat is feeling much better.Cannot say enough great things about the care my cat always receives here.”
