I found this hotel online and it had great reviews so I decided to give it a try as I always wanted to go to Ohio to tour A bigger Amish Country as we are from Upstate NY and don't have many Amish here. The hote definitely was a great hotel. Very immaculate very friendly staff rooms were very spacious and clean breakfast buffet was good stairwells smelled like baby powder bathroom is very spacious and shower good size refrigerator nice spacious counter no bugs no hair on beds or in shower clean bedding and comfy beds will definitely be my go to hotel when I go back to tour the Amish.

It was amazing until we came back and our niece went to the room and they had sold our room to someone else.It was over a misunderstanding , which would have been okay , but the manger was super super rude about it. And refused to refund our money.So they totally double dipped on a room. Oh well too blessed to be stressed

It is always great to stay here but this last time the hot tub was closed and the small exercise room too with no mention of it online, booked a day in advance so they should have known. The disability access room was disappointing compared to a standard room and cost more which is not okay.
Update: stayed again August '25 and it was better like it usually is. I included a pic of the accessible room, this one was better than last time but does anyone who needs this type of room have problems with it? I found it not working to good for me and I am only missing below the knee on one leg. Perhaps if you have a wheelchair that is waterproof it would work but I found the chair too far from the faucet although the hose is a huge help. Floor pan of shower is quite slippery.
I still love this hotel and the wonderful area and always meet such nice people.

This is one of the best hotels in the Amish Country area. The rooms are large and clean, and the housekeeping staff are efficient and friendly. From the time you arrive at check-in until the time you leave, you will be happy with their service. The manager, Doug, is very visible and loves talking with those staying at the hotel. Breakfast is the highlight of the stay. No skimping here. There's plenty of hot foods, cereals, breads, juices, etc...and best of all, they have the Walnut Creek Cheese iced cinnamon rolls. These rolls will melt the fillings out of your teeth. There's a pool and hot tub, and a fitness center. Then you can sit outside at one of the two gas fire pits. This hotel is central to everything whether going to Walnut Creek, Sugarcreek, Charm, Bunker Hill or New Hope. The only thing I would change is the low-height toilets. They don't need to be handicap height, but higher than the training potty chair I used for the kids. I'm exaggerating, of course, but the toilets do sit low enough that if you have even a minor knee or hip problem, it will be difficult to get up. But if that's the only problem, we are truly blessed to stay here. Tip: Call to make reservations. They have discounts not available through their website that will make their rates competitive with other area hotels. Even if they should cost a little more, it's well worth it.

Great place with comfortable room. The staff dug out a shower chair for my wife which made life easier. The breakfasts both mornings we were there wonderful.

In the heart of the Berlin, OH shopping district, this was a very nice hotel for couples or families. I especially liked the firepits out back. I like that families with small children are usually booked for the 1st or 2nd floor. If you've ever been booked in a room below children, running to and fro, you get it. The room was nicely appointed with marble counters, a nice firm king bed and modern amenities. The staff were all wonderful. We would gladly stay again.

This hotel is very modern, clean and relaxing environment. Only complaint, air conditioning unit in room 302 made a very unpleasant sound when running.

Wonderful hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Great complimentary breakfast was much nicer than your routine hotels... try the cinnamon rolls, that come from a Amish bakery just down the road.

I like to be fair & give positive not just negative. Positive is nice loc & common spaces, good housekeepers. Kitchen manager was great & helpful. Desk personnel not so. On top of being forced to checkout of rooms after the first night of what was planned to be staying 2nd night. Alot of aggravation lost time their error to find another room. Then I had to push thru delays rudeness & resistance to get a $15 credit when they should have gladly offered that & much more appropriate offer. Cost me hours of 2 day valuable getaway time so that was really insulting. Convince me not to leave offering a similar room and then charged me more for it! I appealed nicely 2 unfriendly clerks but Mgr stayed behind the wall, could hear him, didn't even have the courtesy to come to speak to me about it personally. There are so many other great hospitable caring places to stay nearby, & I have never had that sort of a negative experience of going to the area every year for over 25 years. Sad that my wonderful streak ended with such disrespect there.

Room was very clean. The breakfast was good and hot. My only complaint would be how small the pool and hot tub are. Waited an hour to get in the hot tub but there were kids in it the entire time and I never got to go in.

“My stay at this hotel was great. The room was clean, and set for our stay. The rooms only thing that disappointed me was at breakfast there was a little rude lady that snapped at us. Other than that it was good.”

Everything about this hotel is amazing! The staff were great and polite and very knowledgeable about everything. The housekeeping staff was spot on.

Front desk was very friendly. The rooms were clean and smelled so good when we walked in. Beautiful abd relaxing outdoor sitting area. Definitely recommend.
