One bad apple Just spoil a bunch, but I'm not going to let that spoil this review I shop here because it has fresh produce and the stuff I need unlike the Kroger down the street I came here tonight after I've been at the hospital all day with my husband that's been in ICU for a week now My spirits have been very down and I got tired of eating out food so I came in to get a couple groceries and I want to the deli department and first I went to the prepackaged deli but they didn't have mesquite turkey so I heard somebody in the back so I asked one of the other girls that was stalking the bread if they were open she went back there to check for me and then another girl proceeded and asked me what did I need and so she sent somebody to be out to help me The older lady that came out to help me apparently was upset that she had to come out cuz I didn't say nothing I just asked her can I get my turkey and I wanted thin slice in a fourth of a pound after she asked me that I need anything else and I said no ma'am she perceives to say who waits to come at the end of the day when we're closing as she shakes her head and rolls her eyes at me and I said I'm sorry I've been at the hospital all day and she shakes her head I don't want to hear it I don't want to hear it and I said you could have told me no you didn't have to get the lunch meat and she says I couldn't tell you no cuz they would have fired me I said you could have told me no coming out like that then I said my husband's been in ICU on a ventilator but then she going to say oh I'm sorry about your husband I said thanks and walked away as I grab my turkey I went upstairs to get my wine and as I'm thinking about it I just got more upset because I'm wondering would she had said that to someone who was of a different race than her so I went back downstairs and got me some bread and I asked one unemployees Is it okay to grab this bread I don't want nobody to get upset with me like the lady in the deli just fussed me out and the coworker said I apologize as I went to check out Ariana came in approached me and asked me would I like to write a statement of what happened and do I feel safe doing so and she actually listened to me vent and I start crying in the store and I felt more embarrassed about crying after I was just talk to like that but she made me feel safe and she listened to me and she also sent her manager told her to give me a discount which I thought was nice and I didn't want that lady to get fired that works in a deli Diane but she needs to take a customer service class and know who to talk to and who not to talk to she don't know who I was I could have been someone from corporate or or just like I was a customer that I had already a shitty day and she could have made a better experience that could have brightened somebody's day instead she made it worse and have me crying in Giant eagle store.Ariana H help save that experience and having a well stock store that's what the 4 stars are for UPDATE the store manager called me offered an apology and a bouquet of flowers $20 gift card Thank you Dan this should be a learning experience for Diane as old as she was thought she would have known

Convenient but expensive, not as much variety because it's a smaller footprint store but it's great for just getting a few essentials quickly.

This liquor store sucks and Sequoia is the only redeeming part. She is very kind and respectful.

I work in the area so I'm in there almost everyday, the store is nice and the customer service is awesome BUT the thing that annoys me the most is the self checkout. Giant Eagle needs to tell people to either form individual lines for each self checkout or just one giant line and whoever is next go to the one that becomes available first. Please enforce a rule!

Stopped in tonight admittedly mainly to use the bathroom while waiting for an event nearby but with full intentions of purchasing a drink or something afterwards. Discovered that the elevator was blocked off by a rack of booze. As I have nerve damage in a leg, stairs are very difficult for me, so I turned around and left. At least I am someone who could climb stairs with a struggle had it been a true emergency but imagine the message this sends to someone who lacks that option. Or even to parents with strollers in a neighborhood that prides itself on walkability. Disappointing to see how little Market District cares about accessibility.

What an awesome find! Love this location and wish they set up more this way! The food is well stocked, it's very clean and not some huge parking lot to worry about where to park. Love it!

Overall thankful this store exists in our neighborhood however please bring back the restaurant. It’s such a waste of great space plus the grilled cheese and tomato soup was delicious and our favorite. We also miss the salads. Hope to see it re-open again.

The review about the store smelling like fish is wild! ? It’s a grocery store!? it also doesn’t smell like anything either, lol.It’s a pretty cute store, very modern, and makes me feel like I’m not in Columbus ? I’m not from Ohio and Columbus is a bit small compared to where I’m from. It feels like I’m in a bigger city with the upstairs. Got some items today and it wasn’t too bad. Lots of fun options I havent seen anywhere else.
