Called during posted business hours (to 5pm, called around 4pm) to fix THEIR mistake (omission of the referral number) on a billing statement - confirmed by my insurance - and listened for awhile to their “holding music” and then, after a few minutes, the recording states, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable take your call at this time. Please try again later.” Or, words to that effect. Did it three times. Highly unprofessional considering that a person has to waste his/her time calling in the first place to fix your mistake.
Edit: The second time around was much better; good customer service. Still, if the original claim sent to my insurance company had been completed correctly, I wouldn't have forfeited the 3 hours (comprised of 6 or 7 phone calls I had to make) of my life I can't get back.
