After a couple years of bad haircuts I decided to give Nicole a try. She single-handedly brought my hair back to a point I absolutely love it! She is super knowledgeable and has recommended products and tips to keep my hair healthy and gorgeous. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend her.

This applies to the lady at the front desk who we encountered today: Please educate yourself: 1. Noone has « African American hair » just like no one has just « Caucasian hair ». 2. What hair stylist can’t do hi-lites on curly-wavy hair ? ..yet hi-lites are what you appear to specialize in 3. How do you assume texture of hair without touching the hair? Do better. The world is a diverse place whether you like it or not.
Additionally, get customer service right. She was unwelcoming before we even told her what we needed. Little did she know - we were returning customers (with the same hair lol), but will not be returning, or recommending the salon to anyone.

First time customer and felt lucky they were able to schedule me before Easter. Paige took a lot of time with the consult making sure I was getting what I needed. She was a pleasure to talk with, she was professional, bubbly, and promised I would feel happy and look brighter and younger when finished. She delivered a delightful experience and fantastic results. Would totally book again! I appreciated the price -a great rate for the working class with an rich professional look!!!

Waxing with Dawn- Dawn, just moved her waxing business to HiLites and it was an amazing add on to their team and salon! First off the women at the front was amazing, so sweet, so funny, and was so happy to tell me how dawn was. Thank you! Dawn- I truly don't believe I've ever felt so comfortable with any aesthetician in my life, mind you I have been seeing the same lady in Miami, FL for ~4 years. Right off the bat, she treats you like a friend she hasn't seen in years, so laying on her table is almost a no brained. The way she waxes is brilliant. From what type of wax she uses, to her price, to how she walks you through the pain (if there is any), even to the coconut oil she gives you to make sure you don't feel sticky when you leave! AND SHES FAST! I was in there for 25 mins Max! If you are a long time client to Hi lites Salon or you are just in town and need a good wax, see Dawn. It's worth every second & worth every penny. Dawn- next time I'm in town, I'll be back for you! Thank you Queen! Price-45$ COVID - super clean salon. All masked/ shielded staff & clients. Her space is extremely clean, new strips & lying paper per client. Appointment- I highly recommend making one, as she is to awesome to not be booked!

Dawn runs her Wax Cincinnati business from within Hilites Salon. I use her waxing services for men and she does an excellent job. She’s very fast and accurate. She can hold great conversations during her services and aftercare is very minimal meaning she’s clean and does the job properly. I highly recommend her.

I've been going to Amy for years and she's wonderful- patient, professional and listens to what the customer wants. She makes good suggestions and never pushes you to do something out of your comfort zone.The business as a whole seems well run, however they are lacking a website, which is sort of unacceptable in this day and age. I would love to book appointments online rather than having to call each time. I also wish they offered a higher end, more unique product line. They offer only mainstream, mid-quality products like Redken and Paul Mitchell. I would like to see products that I can't get at Walgreens and Ulta.The Blue Ash location is very convenient, and the place is clean and tidy.
