Good luck getting gas here. You have to play 20 questions with the pump and it still cancels your sale EVERY TIME. I stop here once a week and have finally decided to give up. I suggest you take your business elsewhere too

I reside in blue Ash, Ohio, and have been going to Shell for three years now almost every day.. I always have a great experience , everyone is always friendly, LIZ always has it decorated nicely. The staff there remembers me as a regular, which I greatly appreciate.
Today I had My first horrible experience here thanks to a “CORTNEY. I asked why something was more than it is across the street at Kroger and instead of responding politely maybe say “I’m not sure” or anything other than what she replied “because this is not the hood”. I utilize this shell location every day and I am upset that now I have to go in there with the chip on my shoulder and in defense mode because maybe Courtney has an attitude and will call me hood because I am African American? I have never lived in the “hood” and I refuse to be talked down upon by someone who should practice world class customer service!!!!!! Send Cortney to a “hood” location since that is her demeanor because where I pay taxes to live in blue ash I refuse to be mistreated somewhere I will be everyday!

PSA: if the pump indicates to pay inside (usually because the card is declining or something was entered wrong, pin code, zip code) you can pay with cash or card. You can estimate how much gas is needed to fill up, however if you over estimate you can come back in and retrieve your cash or get an updated receipt. The amount pumped is what you will be charged not the amount of the pre pay. I.e. Prepay $40 but only pump $32 your card will only be charged the $32 once the transaction is completed and not pending. Hope this helps those who aren't aware.
