I came here for alterations on my bridesmaid dress and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. At my initial appointment, the seamstress accidentally sewed the bottom of my dress to the top under the bust, which left a snag in the fabric. She said she couldn’t press it out and offered to take the slit up a bit higher. I agreed, assuming this would be done at no charge to make up for the mistake, but instead I was charged an extra $20 — and no discount was ever given for the snag.
I was also told the dress would be ready by Tuesday, but when my boyfriend went to pick it up, it wasn’t finished. She took his number and said she would text when it was ready later that day or the next, but he never heard from her. I didn’t get my dress back until Saturday when I was able to pick it up myself.
Overall, I was not satisfied with the service, communication, or pricing.

Absolutely love this place! The service was so sweet. I brought my wedding dress in and ended up needing a few things done. She really talked me through everything in detail to make sure I was understanding what needed to be done.

LOVE this shop!! I am so happy I stopped in here today on a whimsical chance that I might fine “the one” for my National Pageant… and I DID!!! Definitely will be back for future events and for my girls!

I recently purchased a lovely, soft gray silk “shirtwaist” to wear to a family wedding. It was perfect. Truth be told, I hate to shop, but the woman who helped me was so helpful! She made the experience not only tolerable but enjoyable.

Rachel sold me and recreated my wedding dress.. replaced the entire skirt, added a lace underlay, and removed the train. She respected my privacy, opinions and budget and made everything possible. I couldn't have been happier with my dress.
