I recently relocated, and this store is the closest one for me to shop at. I’ve made 5 trips here and I have never been asked by any associate if I needed help. I have even been ignored by employees when trying to get some help. These are the rudest Best Buy employees that I have seen.

No one answers the phone. Hold times over 30mins. Drove to the store while on hold to find out they can’t do a repair in store. No one ever answered the phone.

I bought some air pod pros second generation and I notice there wasn’t that little plastic wraps around them and I didn’t sure if that’s how it was supposed to be but I’m sure that, that means they have been used and I payed with my hard earned money on those and I would at least liked to get none used ones

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Kevin “Big Red” at the Best Buy in Boardman, Ohio, on June 17, 2025, and it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had anywhere. Kevin listened carefully to every concern my husband and I had, addressed them thoroughly, and made sure everything was resolved before I left. He explained technical issues in a way that was easy to understand and even took the extra step of preventing a previous service issue from happening again. His professionalism and care made us feel valued as customers

Kevin’s knowledge of computers, networking devices, and consumer electronics is top-notch. He quickly diagnosed problems with my husband's laptop, protected his data, and took time to educate us about device care and helpful services — all without any pressure to buy extras I didn’t need. It’s clear he takes pride in doing the job right and making sure customers leave satisfied.
Kevin handled troubleshooting and repairs efficiently, following Best Buy’s procedures while maintaining a positive, friendly attitude. If you need expert tech help with great customer service, ask for Kevin “Big Red” — he’s a true asset to the Boardman Best Buy and someone I’ll be returning to in the future.

I needed a cat8 cable for my PC and I was wandering aimlessly through the networking/wi-fi section when a gentleman in a black tie, I presume the manager, directed me to the proper section of the store. Even though they didn’t have what I needed, he didn’t try to
Undersell me a cat 6 and he suggested places I can go check. I can buy anything online, so service is paramount in brick and mortar stores. I will return to Best Buy if I need something that day for sure. Also; if the manager happens to see this,I found the cat 8 cable in the store to the right of your suggestion. Thanks and you’re welcome ;)

Visit the store in Boardman Oh. There were at least 3 employees standing as I walked right by them, never spoke , and they never came over to see if I needed help. So I had to walk from the back of the store to the front, and I had to ask the very nice young man working in the Geek Squad what I had to do to get help in the car stereo department, and he had to call someone to finally come help. They finally did come and help me, and I purchased the car stereo. In the meantime, the young man from the Geek Squad walked all the way back to make sure I had been helped. I know what it's like to have friends at work. But it would have only taken them 2 minutes to wait on me, but they chose to stand around and ignore me. Their customer service was terrible, and it seems Iike they need more training on customers service. The young man in the Geek Squad went up and above to help, I give him 10***. You need more employees like him.

I would give a 0 if I could! There were 2 men working the electrics area. They were both helping customers and saw me there. I just needed a computer cord and could not find it.
The one said on their ear pieces I was there waiting for help. I stood there for 30 minutes.
The 1st guy got done and went to 2 young girls and helped them knowing I had been there.
When I was leaving I said something to the lady in white (maybe a manager) she didn’t care.
There were 4 employees at the front door just standing there talking.
When I gave my opinion to the lady one sarcastically said have a great day ma’am. Then he said it again. Just so DISRESPECTFUL for customer service.
So, Ya I will have a great day after leaving there. After 30 min of NOTHING I went somewhere else.
I’ll NEVER go back there. I wish I had a job to stand around and do absolutely nothing.

Purchased a new tv and have had nothing but issues with it. The tv lags BAD. Can’t get anyone on the phone to help. Get the go around with the manufacturer.

Just bought a new phone from there a couple days ago. The guy there in the phone department was phenomenal at his job and was very helpful. Same goes for the greeter by the door. She was very friendly and said hello and welcome, and bye when I left. 10/10
