I was able to find alot of items for my son. He's 3 but wears 5t due to his height sadly it is harder then it should be to find him clothes that actually fit. I was able to find about 7 pairs of pants 5 pj's and a few t shirts plus a sweater. The biggest bonus for myself was a Hilary Duff doll that I had begged my parents for as a child almost 30 years ago now.

My daughter and I visited the Boardman location on 10/30 in the evening. The staff they had on shift was AMAZING! The prices couldn’t be beat either. They went out of their way to help me find everything I needed and they were very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

I’m not impressed with this location. My daughters clothes was freshly washed smelled really good and they said they couldn’t take anything it had an Odor which was a lie I feel as though they didn’t want to go through everything cause I did bring multiple bags. I also noticed some clothes the customers took in still had tags brand new for $1 but they are charging like $10 bucks for the item. Some of the bins I went through had sneakers that were so dirty. They also give you so little for the items they take. I will be trying another location as this one is maybe the worse location I have been to so far. You’re not even greeted when you come into the store when you check out they don’t even say hi. They aren’t friendly what so ever. Do better there are moms who depend on this place for the children

If i could give this store a lower rating i would. the employees are rude. i turned in clothes for them to buy and did some shopping while i was there. i was watching them as they were going through my clothes they weren’t even looking at the clothes they were just picking them up and placing them back inside the bag. mind you most of my clothes had tags on them but they didn’t notice because they weren’t looking at them. as i was shopping i was finding clothes with stains on them so you won’t buy clothes brand new with tags but you’ll buy clothes with stains. I HIGHLY recommend the hubbard one they’re great and the workers are so sweet! this one has young kids who don’t actually want to work.

Honestly a big disappointment. I try to do my part when it comes to buying / selling secondhand— so my overall experience bums me out some:
The selection is pretty okay. I found a decent assortment of items that I liked for my daughter. Unfortunately when I got home and started comparing the prices of some of these items compared to brand new, there was hardly a difference. As I like to be as sustainable as possible with my buys, I am also a parent on a budget and have to be economic with my spending as well.
The biggest issue that I had however, was with the staff. I should preface by saying I worked in fashion retail for my entire career before staying at home. That said, the way I was treated as a customer was not the slightest bit acceptable for individuals in a customer facing position.
Overall my review is based off of a total of 3 visits within the same week. My first visit, while shopping, I overheard an employee telling a customer she was ringing out about the discount you get if you sell the same day you buy. I wasn’t planning on stopping in this day, so I didn’t have any items with me. I put my items on hold to return later with some items to sell.
I returned that same night at 7:45pm (they close at 9pm.) I was approached by 3 girls as I set my bag on the counter. I told them I had a hold and a bag of items to sell. They looked at each other and told me they were done buying for the night. I apologized and explained I thought they closed at 9pm. Then, a boy employee told them they HAD to buy until 8pm. They ignored him and pointed me over to their tablet and told me to “go over there” to check in. While doing so, I overheard one of the girls say “well then HE can do it.” I felt extremely unwelcome the entire time.
When they were done going through my items, I received the notification my buy was complete. I stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged. Finally a girl came up and started ringing me out. I told her I wanted to see exactly what my credit was before I made my final decision. She proceeded to scan AND REMOVE HANGERS from my entire purchase without telling me what my credit would be. Then told me I was getting a measly $30 and my balance was well over $100. At this point I felt obligated to buy these items, as they made me feel like the biggest inconvenience from the start. I asked what the return policy was so I could review things at home, paid and left.
Today I went to return a total of 4 items out of 23 that I originally purchased. Mostly because one item was clearly shrunk and the others were overpriced. Of the maybe 5 employees that I saw working, only one was at the registers. I waited patiently for her to say absolutely anything to me. I told her a I had a return, she turned and looked at the boy (from the other day) and he came to help her. She very rudely said “when did you buy it” and I explained it had only been a few days. They then returned my items, a HUGE $23 return (sarcasm intended.) The girl then looked at the boy and said “does she get to keep this?” Referring to my receipt (like obviously I get my original receipt!) and she walked away without saying a word.
Overall, the balance between making the sustainable choice by purchasing second hand was ruined this week by being treated like crap by employees who clearly hate their customers (who by the way are the WHOLE REASON you have a job.)
Will likely try another children's resale store in the future 🤷🏻♀️

Believe it or not, some of these brands you can actually buy brand-new for cheaper. I am completely disappointed in how greatly these prices have increased over the past couple of years. It blows my mind that it’s actually more financially reasonable to buy brand new for a secondhand.

Yesterday was my very first visit to this store in Boardman. Boy! Was it an eye opener. The entrance of the store looked like the floor of a chicken coop. Feathers and filth covered the floor and entry rugs. As I entered the store the smell of musty filth hit me. I was looking for clothes for my grandson, so I pushed on as any determined Grammie does. I found a couple items, and headed to the checkout. The girl who waited on me cared nothing about her appearance, and the same energy was reflected on me as a customer. Only brief eye contact when absolutely necessary. I was very polite, but none of that was received in a positive way. She remained stoic, and did her best to quickly end the transaction as fast as she could manage. I went to one of these stores in Texas with my daughter. I am shocked at the contrast. That store in Texas was clean, smelled fresh, and the employees were engaging. I will not be returning to this store again. I am sure I will not be missed in any fashion. It’s really too bad as with just a little attention this place could be amazing.

I like stopping here from time to time. I find a few nice things each time for both kids. I LOVE they offer bogo free on books, however last time I was there i did not get that deal.
Selling- chaos, I waited foredr In store last time. The person doing the clothing said to give her 15 minutes since it was a small box. It took her an HR to get to me. Meanwhile taking in more clothing. No way if I was there 2 hrs waiting with less items, that they had time to make it to this person by 730pm when it was 530pm, my stuff wasn't touched and there were multiple others waiting for their stuff to be gone thru. They took 2 tops from a 3 PC and left the bottoms... I did receive $20 from my items and 20% off my total which was great. But I also paid $3.50 for a toy ambulance that didn't even work anymore for my autistic son for making him wait. Which was a rip off but he wanted it. I'll continue to go back but wish they'd get it together more for a business that's been doing this for years

Always amazing prices and great variety of children’s clothing, shoes, toys, etc. The service is also very good, everyone is always friendly and helpful.

While the store is well stocked, prices have skyrocketed and the quality of clothing is not what it used to be. Employees are very friendly and helpful.
However….The bathroom was a pig sty— the floor has a layer of grime and feces streaked on it. No toilet paper, and if you have to change an infant, do it elsewhere. There is no excuse for a public bathroom to look like that.

Would have not rated but decided everyone should know if it has a little dirt on it, brand new or not, or if it needs batteries they will not accept it. Won’t be Bri g my stuff back to this store again as the one in Niles takes about anything and everything and is not as strict

Brought some leftover baby stuff I had, some stuff brand new in the box some stuff used, said they wouldn't take anything made before 2019, one of the things I brought was a caddy stroller for a Chicco car seat and they said it was made in 2002, when I literally bought it FROM THEM in 2020. I also bought a practically brand new walker my mom bought for my daughter for her house which she never ended up using, bought THIS YEAR IN 2024, said they wouldnt take it cause it was made in 2005. No the hell it wasn't. They gave me 20 dollars for the little amount they did take. I brought 3 bags of clothes. They probably took all the name brand and left the rest. Ridiculous. Waste of time.

Every single time I go to this location there is an excuse as to why they can’t take the clothes. They’re “not in season”, “we’re not interested”? Sounds like they’re lazy. The store is being run by teenagers who have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. I was under the impression that this was a “gently used clothing store” and an employee literally said “we can’t accept these because they’re worn”. How in the world does that make any sense? No stains, no tearing, no smell and they refuse to take the items unless they’re name brand or still have tags. They post signs saying they need “specific” items, but turn those items away when you bring them. This location is not worth your time.
