Southern Park Mall is Mahoning County's premier shopping destination, home to more than 120 retail, dining, and entertainment options. It is one of the few malls that is still thriving, thanks to innovative ideas moving away from large cornerstone stores to local businesses and restaurants. The dynamic offering includes an outdoor entertainment and sports area, a section with large yard games for kids, and numerous events. Dining choices feature places like Double Bogeys, known for its Yo Hot Chicken Sandwich, and Buffalo Wild Wings, a kid-friendly spot with ample screens for sports. Visitors also recommend the Black Sugar Milk Tea from the food court and the bourbon chicken from Asian Chaos. The mall is open seven days a week. While some feel it is losing its pizzazz and becoming a cemetery for clothes, its mix of activities and dining keeps many guests engaged and returning.
Compared to my childhood I can't give it a five star. But I love the stores that are in here like Lunch Box, Victoria's Secret and Build a Bear. Restrooms are usually dirty but the mall itself is clean.

I always enjoy going to Double Bogeys for their Yo Hot Chicken Sandwich. It’s extremely difficult for me to sample anything else on the menu besides it. PS// It can be messy, best to wrap it up halfway w/their thicker napkins.
