I had a very good experience! I had to have an ultrasound sound done for a minor reason, thankfully, and it couldn't have gone better. Everyone was friendly and caring, and I felt very comfortable every step of the way.

This morning was very hard for me. I had just been told I had a lump in my breast and needed surgery. I went to Southwoods imaging and the lady at the front desk. Super nice blonde haired lady (wish I knew her name) was sooo kind to me. Even giving me a very much needed hug as she saw I was shaking ...
Every time I am at Southwoods this has been the experience. They truly hire wonderful people. I cannot express how much that meant to me on a day that I was so upset. Thank you so much!!! Wish I could rate higher!

They meant well but boy they don't know how to read an MRI image everything they told me was off supposedly I had lumbar spinal stenosis I don't the spinal stenosis is in the hip they didn't even catch arthritic facet joints that are real bad the neurosurgeon did this is the second time this happened they don't know how to read the image

Our experiences at Southwoods Imaging have always been pleasant and positive. Staff are very friendly and take the time to talk to you about the procedure; what to expect before and after. Facilities are clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend - you will not be disappointed.

A few months back I got an MRI for my hips that I have only had issues with as recent as 3 years ago. After a lovely $5,000 charge to my insurance and me having to pay $1,000 of which I was not informed I would have to pay, I was told that there's nothing wrong. I asked for an itemized bill from the hospital and was given a heavy attitude from the person I spoke with and decided to begrudgingly pay the bill. It's not been 2 months and I've received a separate bill to pay the doctor for looking at it. ANOTHER payment I was not informed I would have to pay. I'm severely disappointed and never plan to revisit. Try informing people the amount they'll have to pay when they ask. You are a hospital not a business.

Over a month I’ve been calling my doctor Maracas. No one doesn’t return my calls and it goes straight to voice mail. This isn’t the first time that this has happen. I’m getting frustrated with the whole situation.

Very disappointed… My husband had a CT of his orbital and requested three times to have the disk sent to UPMC to his referring doctor. He reiterated that and was told that there would be no problem to have it sent directly over to her. She requested this disk prior to his next appointment so she could review and also discuss the findings with colleagues. When I went to pick up our copy of the disk, I wanted to confirm that it was sent. I was told it was not. His appointment was the very next day so the referring doctor did not have the disk prior to his appointment to review and discuss with colleagues.

I have had multiple MRIs due to ongoing back problems. The doctor at South woods wanted to see if a cyst had increased in size. The MRI report showed NOTHING. No disk degeneration, no congenital fuse, no cyst, nothing! I guess my multiple chronic back problems had magically disappeared. Insurance was billed over $5000 for a radiology read that showed my back as fine. Went on to have a spinal fusion. Save your money and get your MRI at a place that knows how to read a film. Next time I will return to Star Imaging. South Woods should be ashamed!

I've experienced my fair share of medical facilities over the years but Southwoods knows how to really take care of their patients from start to finish. Greeted by happy and pleasant staff, free snacks and drinks while you wait, warm robes while waiting for your testing, and everything explained as it's taking place. It looks and feels like you're at a spa. In October they even do some giveaways for breast cancer awareness.

Stay away . 2nd time they have screwed up for me and the last . 1st time tried to inject dies that I'm allergic too , this time scheduled my appointment a week later than they told me. Never again.

I recently had to get an ultrasound and was referred here. Aside from having to wear a mask (which is understandable with compromised people all around) everything was great. Everyone I came in to contact with was very friendly and nice. I was taken from the main waiting room to register then in another waiting room until called back. The front had a charging station for devices. I did not wait anywhere very long. The tech that did my test was super sweet and helped me stay calm through my test and took extra steps to help make sure I was good to go when finished! Everything was very clean, snacks and drinks were available in the second waiting room which is really nice for people that end up waiting a little while or possibly have to be there often.

On May 19,2022 I had to have a MRIi was very fearful and afraid what I didn’t know was that GOD had already put HIS Angels in place. The first encounter was when I was met by the first Angel her name was Lori in registration who show so much compassion and saw the fear in me she began to explain and encourage me that I would be fine. That they had the best tech and machines, she even informed me that if at anytime I didn’t feel I could go through with it that too would be alright, but she ended by saying that she believed in me a gave me a fist bump and then I was lead to the MRI room and had my 2nd encounter with another GOD sent her name is Wendy she explained everything to me a show me how it would be and assured me that if I felt I couldn’t do it again I was told it would be alright. I asked if she could give me something to cover my eyes she asked me what type of music I would like to hear and answered every question or concerns. She assured me that she would be there all I need to do was ring. She stayed in contact with me from the beginning to the end and kept me posted on the process. Finally it was over and Wendy told me how proud she was of me not it was because GOD had put these to angels in place. I’m so grateful I was able to give them a hug and a heartfelt thank you. South woods Imaging has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. Just wanted to say thank you to the staff. I didn’t realize that Wendy had gave me a eye cover that said I Survived my MRI. I love it

They actually forgot that I was in the waiting room waiting to get an X-Ray.After about an hour of waiting and, watching people come and go I finally went and asked someone what was going on. The person told me they forgot I was in there waiting. When I finally went in they were playing on their phones. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
