I've never been so disappointed in my local Ace store. They are suppose to have free delivery for Rewards customers but from what the girl at the counter said they don't even check the stuff that comes in to see if it is delivery or pick up. I don't know how true this is though because their customer care person said that the manager just had to call to schedule the delivery when I called to check the status. But the counter girl said they couldn't deliver because their delivery guy was on vacation. If you aren't going to be up front and honest then at least get your story straight. Do you really not have someone cover for a person on vacation? Why couldn't you call and say our driver is on vacation do you want to pick up your order or wait til the driver gets back from vacation? Because a signature was required I had to waste most of the day waiting for something that BG Ace never intended to deliver...such a waste of my time..The stupidest part about this is that I was bummed I had to go get it but I wasn't upset about it until the counter girl tried to justify the stores mistake. I should have asked to speak to the manager but her attitude took me so off guard that I didn't think of that til I was out of the store and the way I feel right now I don't ever want to go back in there.

Every time we walk into the Bowling Green store, we are made to feel like we are the most important person there. We don’t just receive an aisle number, someone takes us to where we need to go and then helps us find the items we need. No better customer service.

Still feels like an old style hardware store. Complete with people who are super helpful and good prices. I went in for help on a plumbing issue and the worker led me to the right parts and even gave me pointers on how to complete the job.

Ace Hardware in Bowling Green, Ohio has always been one of my favorite retailers. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful no matter how small or large the request.

Very helpful. Went out of there way to help me find just what I needed. After spending a half hour at Home Depot no one there would help me. Went to Ace Hardware should have went to them first. Highly recommend
