The vendors are great but the environment at the entrances are intimidating. There are always people petitioning or handing out papers and I was microaggressed as an immigrant. One of them slowed down their speech and told me “welcome to the states” even though I have been here over 15 years. This can be very terrifying for people and students and feels very unsafe to access the market, so that is going to hurt the vendors’ businesses as well. I was told that no one has complained about this so I hope there’s more that can be done to make the environment safer, especially for immigrants like myself who face racism everyday. For those going who do feel intimidated by this, I suggest going with a group and wearing headphones or earplugs to drown them out.

All of the vendors there are so nice and have great products! My personal favorite are M&J Craft Baking's macarons

Picked up this beautiful collection from the Riehm Farms Produce tent. Wish I could've grabbed more, but my hands were full. Cooking Cajun tonight.
