Copper Beech at Bowling Green offers student apartments that provide good space and privacy for tenants. The complex is generally maintained, and many find the apartments themselves to be nice and clean. The location is liked by residents, and some enjoy the peace and quiet of the community. The maintenance team is frequently praised as great, quick, respectful, and on top of work orders. Office staff are described as friendly and doing their best to assist. However, experiences are inconsistent. The temperature in units is incredibly inconsistent, with a large difference between cold lower floors and hot top floors. Some amenities, like the gym and volleyball court, are noted as terrible or broken, with repairs not addressed. Management can be problematic, with communication sometimes limited to an AI assistant and policies changing, leading to unexpected charges for things like minor repairs. Utilities are often oddly expensive. While rent may start cheap, it can jump significantly. The sense of community is mixed, feeling more quiet and working-class than a vibrant student welcome. Overall, it is considered a typical college apartment, providing decent value for the space but with notable drawbacks in management, amenities, and comfort.

Black mold was found in the toilet the day of move in. Also found some in the washer. I couldn’t imagine continuing there washing my clothes in mold. Management, terrible. Very condescending and putting blame on tenants for things they caused. I could go on. Just to sum it up, not worth living here even if it looks nice... read full comment
