Grounds For Thought is a wonderful coffee shop, bookstore, and community staple in Bowling Green. It is a must-stop location with a unique vibe and fantastic atmosphere, embodying the spirit of the town. The coffee is extremely legit, always great, and features delectable choices that change each day, with excellent froth. They offer amazing donuts, decadent drinks, and great desserts like Italian Lemon cake and Chocolate Lovin' Cake, with many goodies to choose from. The bakery case items look fantastic, and there are a few gluten free items always available. The space accommodates everyone with tables for board games, chess matches, and D&D groups, plus smaller setups for bookworms and artists. It also serves as a music venue. The book stock changes frequently. Service is wonderful every time, and prices are super affordable. The establishment is wheelchair accessible, with tables that can accommodate. It is a favorite stop and a little gem that is difficult, if not impossible, to find anywhere else.
I absolutely love this little gem. I've been here so many times, but I haven't been able to try all of their goodies. They have SO MANY to choose from. I have wonderful service EVERYTIME! My 6 year old loves looking through the books because everytime we go, the stock has changed! Super affordable prices! CHECK IT OUT!

Love this place! Coffee and service are excellent and the atmosphere is one of a kind. One of these days I’ll try some of the items in the bakery case…they look fantastic!!
