The service manager is always pleasant to talk too. I like that she treats me like a person and doesn’t talk over me or try to make me feel ignorant like some service managers do at other dealers. It’s nice to have a place to bring my daughter’s car to for oil changes and recommendations made on what will need fixed in the future. I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of like I have at other dealers and for that I’m very appreciative.

My repair needs were diagnosed quickly. Repairs were completed in the time frame promised at the quoted cost. The service department proactively communicated with me. Overall, it was a pleasant experience

We called in September to make a service appointment for some minor repairs. On the phone, they gave us the date October 10th. There was no text or email follow-up. When we dropped off on October 10th, they said that we had missed our appointment. There was no phone call or attempt made to contact us between when we made the appointment and when we were told we had missed it. Then we were told we couldn't schedule again for a month and a half. Extremely unprofessional for a dealership service center.

My salesperson, Tyler, was incredibly responsive. I appreciated that she had answers to my questions within minutes of reaching out to her. Other dealerships took hours or even days to respond in some cases. Tyler texted me back in a matter of minutes with offer numbers, and continued to be helpful and responsive at every step. She took really good care of me through the whole process.

Tricia in the service department is top notch and will do anything she can. But I would say in the last year the service technicians have not been as meticulous as in the past. In addition the resources to assist with loaner, courtesy shuttle etc. have lessened making it more of a burden to go to this dealership service dept.

I would highly recommend Thayer Chevrolet if you are shopping for a new or used vehicle. The entire process working with Brett from start to finish was one of the best car buying experiences. This is a great dealership with honest sales associates and fair pricing.

The best Truck buying experience ever! I was tired of wasting my time dealing with Akron area dealerships... they would not give upfront numbers... I found Thayer thru the Chevy site ... they had a truck on order that I wanted... simple phone call and was given price and that is the price I paid... I had a trade and they gave me honest market value for it... no hidden charges... upfront pricing... well worth the 2hr drive from Akron to Bowling Green... it not only saved me money but it actually save me from the hassle of dealing with the run around the local dealers were giving me... I will highly recommend dealing with Thayer Chevy even when they are 150 miles away.

The dealership did a fine job. The part that is noteworthy is that I had to take a truck in for nonscheduled maintenance at 13,000 miles. For the money laid out for these vehicles, it is plain unacceptable. First Chevy truck I owned as a daily driver, was a Ford man, maybe I'll go back!
