They have always been nice to our family. I bought an old truck with super low miles for practically nothing and it runs great!!

We called in September to make a service appointment for some minor repairs. On the phone, they gave us the date October 10th. There was no text or email follow-up. When we dropped off on October 10th, they said that we had missed our appointment. There was no phone call or attempt made to contact us between when we made the appointment and when we were told we had missed it. Then we were told we couldn't schedule again for a month and a half. Extremely unprofessional for a dealership service center.

I get excellent service whenever I buy a new car or take mine in for recalls, service or warranty repairs. Everyone is always very professional and friendly. They have an excellent scheduling and communication system. Five stars!

Bought a 2020 Dodge Loramie from Thrayer in November with a warranty. By May the running boards were rusted out from the inside. Called the dealership in June and talked with Lindsay. She said she had to do some checking on the running boards to see if they were covered. I gave her a month to circle back in July. She said she can’t find any information on the running boards, but she will keep checking. I don’t hear from her for two weeks. I call her back. She said she will figure something out by the end of the day. The next day a guy calls who doesn’t introduce himself and tells me the best they can do is take 15% off the running boards. I told him I’ll buy the running boards , but can I get the installation covered. He said sorry that’s all they can do. A 50k truck should be covered or at least the installation of running boards. When they upsell that warranty in my opinion. My advice is buy elsewhere they don’t care!

My sales representative Alex was polite and answered as many questions as I had. Completed paperwork quickly and had me over to the Business Manager Donovan in no time. Donovan went over paperwork in detail and answered any questions I had. Both were amazing.

After having been a loyal Thayer customer for years (up until this happened), when my dad died and left me his 20 year old sports car, of course I took it to Thayer for detailing, an oil change, adjusting a rocker panel, and replacing the window motor on the passenger side. The first time I got it back, the rocker panel was not fixed (later they explained why, and that was fine). It was not properly detailed, windows not clean and the whole back of the car was never even vacuumed. My husband pointed this out to the service manager, who did not care, offer to fix it, etc. They also lost the driver's floormat (it was there when I dropped it off, but not when I picked it up). Service manager said they hang them up on the wall to clean them, then put it back in. Basically, you are SOL. Again, didn't care, very rude and condescending. So I'll be paying to replace that. Also, the driver's door panel around the handle was loose when we picked it up, my husband had to tighten the screw. That's when we noticed the over an inch long crack on the inside of the driver's door by the window. Service manager insisted they never touched that door, of course. Obviously, it appeared that someone perhaps removed that door panel to see how it went in on the passenger side and broke it putting it back together. When we brought the car back the second time, my husband pointed it out to the service manager. Nope, they never touched the door, was the only response we got. I have been in and around that car for 20 years, and there was never a crack there before it went to Thayer. So, I'll be paying to replace that, as well. Also, now the "service engine soon" light is on, so whatever they did during the process of the oil change, I'll be paying to fix that, too.So disgusted, and have never had a "service manager" treat me so poorly, both over the phone, and in person. Up until this all transpired, I would have given them a glowing review.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. I've been here three times and I've given them several chances in case what I've experienced is due to short staffed or covid. However, after today's visit I realize it's just how the dealership is. The staff in the service department is rude and lacks any sort of customer service skills. Their communication is, at best, Neanderthal level. $75 for wiper blades?! Seriously? I can buy the exact same blades for $27 and install them myself, thanks. Back to the staff. When making my appointment the service manager, James, was not only extremely rude but incredibly condensing. The ONLY reason I kept appointment is because I needed an oil change and I only take my vehicle to a dealership for service. Needless to say, I will be going to another dealership that treats their customers with respect and treats them as a human being rather than dollar signs.
