I’ve been working with instructor Justin Roth, and his patience and attention to detail have made a big impact on my game. He takes the time to break down my swing in a way that’s easy to understand and apply.
We had to postpone my original club fitting last month because I was struggling to make solid contact with my irons. When we rescheduled to today, the same issue showed up at first—but Justin quickly diagnosed what was going wrong and helped me make the necessary adjustments.
Once we got going, he had me start with the Ping G440 7-iron. I striped the first shot right down the middle with about a 170-yard carry. I also tried the TaylorMade P770s and Mizuno JPX925 irons—while I got a bit more distance with the Mizuno, I felt much more consistent and in control with the Ping G440s. I ended up purchasing a full set before leaving.

I’ve been taking lessons regularly at GT for 4 years. I’ve had exposure to 3 coaches during this time all of which I’ve learned a great deal. I can highly recommend Justin Roth. He is able to communicate various swing thoughts and techniques to students and really has helped completely change my swing over the past 4 months. He is extremely knowledgeable and can quickly evaluate your swing flaws and come up with drills to help you correct them. Like anything with golf, you will need regular practice time and patience to achieve the results you desire.

We just celebrated my daughter’s 1 year anniversary of working with Coach Justin Roth. Her progress has been exponential due to Justin’s coaching. Justin is an excellent communicator and has also instilled a sense of confidence in my daughter as she develops her game as a junior golfer.

I have been going to Justin since March of 2024 and can not recommended GOLFTEC Brecksville enough. Justin is great at breaking the game and fundamentals down into a way that is easy to comprehend. The instructors at this location truly care about your development and growth. It has been a great experience where I have already hit milestones within the first season after going. If you are looking to improve your game, I highly recommend GOLFTEC Brecksville.

GOLFTEC | Coach Justin Roth
I’m several months in with lessons at GOLFTEC and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Working with Coach Justin Roth has been transformative. Ball striking is greatly improved and is translating to better scoring and increased enjoyment of the game.
Justin’s coaching style is incredibly effective. He breaks down complex techniques into very manageable pieces and offers minor corrections that have major impact. He is a great teacher and very personable which makes each lesson quite enjoyable. The other staff members at GOLFTEC are terrific and very welcoming when coming in to practice on the sims. The Brecksville location quickly became a comfortable environment.
One of the standout features is the technology. The tools available through GOLFTEC, including swing analysis and real-time feedback, are invaluable. Once you know what to look for it is pretty easy to self-correct challenge areas using the sim tools and burn those fixes into muscle memory. The GOLFTEC app is an excellent resource for post-lesson training. It allows you to revisit lessons, track progress, and access drills tailored to specific needs.
Overall, my time at GOLFTEC has been both fun and rewarding. I’ve seen noticeable improvement and highly recommend GOLFTEC to anyone looking to elevate their game.

I have been going to Justin for the past 6 months. Justin has been some impactful on my game, I followed him from North Olmsted to the Brecksville location even though this is much further away. The facility is great with all the technology you could ask for. Options to get fit into clubs to suit your game. The best part of the experience is seeing results when you go out to play your game on the course. Understanding the intricacies of flaws in your game and developing a plan to improve. As with everything, practice is key and ensures what is taught in the lesson transpires on the course. Golf is hard and Justin can help develop a plan.

I followed Justin to this location from Cleveland West. The setup here is great with very nice practice and instruction bays and a lot of clubs to choose from for proper fittings. The GolfTec technology and lessons have helped me reduce my index significantly and i can't wait to see where it goes. A1 practice facility in my book!

Justin Roth has been an excellent teacher . Learning what is involved in the golf swing is an eye opening experience. You will never watch golf the same way again. The drills and the way you are taught are centered around you and are not a cookie design . Awesome experience

I don't normally write reviews, but want to comment regarding the staff at Golftec-Brecksville.The staff consisting of Kevin Lovell and Eugene Choi are outstanding coaches. They are both very personable, knowledgeable and professional.My coach is Kevin Lovell and I must say that I have learned more from Kevin than any other golf professional from whom I have taken lessons. I will be renewing my membership shorty and Kevin is a big reason why.Frank

My swing instructor Kevin Lovell is a great teacher! I recommended this location and coach to all my friends I play with. He's the real deal. I actually was supposed to go to the Fairlawn location but decided to give this one a try because Kevin called me right back. I was so happy with his approach that I stayed, even though it's a 40 minute drive from my house. He cares about his students and their progress. He spends extra time during the lesson making sure that you understand why the swing isn't doing what it's supposed to do or pointing out what you are doing well. He has several really good teaching aids and examples to help you understand how hit the ball the way you're supposed to. This is the first season I've played since I've gotten lessons and I already see the improvement. I understand the swing mechanics and have overcome bad habits (swinging outside to in was a big issue for me). I also got fitted for clubs at this location and Kevin made sure I got to try all the clubs I wanted and explained the best clubs for me and why I should get certain equipment. Now I love my set and am a loyal Callaway club owner. All my friends immediately commented on how much my swing has improved and I've lowered my scores on average by about 10 strokes which was my goal. If you're considering getting lessons go all in and buy the package. You won't regret it!

I walked into the GOLFTEC location in my hometown of Brecksville this past winter. I was immediately warmly greeted by Kevin Lovell asking me how he could help. I signed up for 10 lessons and learned a ton about a fundamentally sound golf swing. Kevin has been great to learn from. And, we became good friends, as well. I highly recommend Kevin and GOLFTEC.

Just another box store that wants to sell you long term training packages and does not keep promises. Teaching staff is nice although. Owner and management won’t even contact you if problems arise. Equipment is glitchy and freezes up a lot. Place is in serious need of updates. Plenty of better options out there for coaching and fitting.
