I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the conduct of the manager at the Sherwin-Williams store located in Brecksville, OH. As a regular customer, I am disappointed with the discriminatory behavior I have experienced on multiple occasions.
On my first visit, the manager refused to help me match paint for minor touch-ups, insisting that I provide an account number, even though I had purchased the paint at that very location. It was only after I called my husband that the manager reluctantly assisted me.
On a separate occasion, I needed stain for the backboards of old stairs, which would mostly be covered by carpet. The wood I brought in for matching had different variations of grain, and a perfect match was not necessary. Despite explaining this, the manager refused to make the stain based on the sample piece of wood I provided, even though I offered to prepay for the stain.
This behavior suggests a pattern of discrimination against women, which is unacceptable. I urge Sherwin-Williams to address this issue by retraining the staff at this location and taking appropriate action against the manager to ensure that all customers receive fair and equal treatment.

It was real a pleasant and comfortable experience shopping at Sherwin Williams with very friendly, helpful and professional staff. The store manager Megan and her crews are truly awesome.

Say's it closes at 6pm. Showed up at 5:45 and the doors were locked, employees were cleaning up the shop in the back and wouldn't open back up.

Superior service from John in the Brecksville store! I will continue to drive out of my way to work with John in that store. Additionally, I only use SW paint because it is a superior product to all others on the market. Why put in so much effort & purchase a cheaper product! Always get great results with SW paint & they can always color match prefectly!

Hunter was an absolute sweet heart, kind as can be and beyond helpful in helping get kid the paint I needed. If you want to be taken care of really well, this store will make sure you are treated with the upmost respect.

Lesson learned... Do not give a review while you have the news going in the background. When I ask for a specific color, the associate gave me the whole collection of colors to choose from. I really appreciated that because it gave me ideas for other colors in other rooms.
