Started out a little rocky with obtaining access to my account and paperwork associated with the account. Then total redemption on their part. Professional, courteous, understanding and helpful up to this point in the process of my situation. Walked me through all necessary steps to direction towards the resolution I needed thus far.

As far as getting a new construction loan with this bank our experience was TERRIBLE, the loan officer we worked with would constantly forget to call us back or follow up. Something we needed to do would hit his desk and he would let it sit there until we called to ask what's going on then he'd say oh you need to do this. We applied at the beginning of June and it took until the third week in August to get the approval. There was a delay with the appraiser but many more delays with the loan officer. He would call and ask me the exact same questions repeatedly and then next time he'd call he'd have my info mixed up with someone else's information. My husband and I actually had him nick named within 2 weeks of working with him, we'd say "The Repeat" is calling. I record all my calls and after asking me thre exact same questions 4-5 times he'd still be asking if I was parceling land ,like NO for the hundredth time. I would have to say I don't know what you're talking about. He could benefit from taking notes and hiring an assistant. He would say we're talking like I'm your friend but it came off more like a used car salesman. It took so long our financial numbers have changed by the thousands, we have more money saved, less money owed it was just not a good fit at all to continue with this bank. We're going elsewhere.

We recently used Westfield Bank for our home purchase and were assigned to Peter Mazilia as our Loan Officer. We could hot have been more pleased with Peter understanding our situation and then finding us a solution. He was great on follow through and communicating with us as we moved through the loan process . I would say if you are looking for a someone who will work hard to get you the type of loan you want and need contact Peter .
