After Sam, the original owner of MAVERICK MOTORS passed away last year. I was a little leery if the quality of service would continue..
But no disappointment here, the quality is just as good. The friendliness is always there…..
I do miss Sam, but CAMERON his son has taken over and has done a great job with the business….. Sam would be proud…!!

“My experience was excellent. Online scheduling with appointment reminders. After hours drop off AND pickup along with an optional loaner vehicle if needed. I am not a mechanic but I work with many and I trouble shot an A/C issue down to a potentially failing compressor. Stringer, being what I consider 100% honest, pinpointed the issue to a bad solenoid that I had initially picked up from Autozone to replace the OEM solenoid. So I was back up and cool for about $225 instead of $700 that I had received from other estimates. They earned my repeat business!”

“A “CAT-Tastic” Crew!!! On this dreary day, I started my car and headed off to take care of a family member. Two hours later, as I was driving to the grocery store, I heard a noise under my car that resembled the sound of an animal in distress. When I arrived in the store's parking lot, the sound was piercing. I looked throughout my car to find where the noise was coming from and called various agencies for assistance, but none was available. Determined, I drove to McCombe Body Shop which was nearest to the grocery store and I spoke to a worker named Nathan who agreed to help me. A car detailer named Chris found and removed a kitten that had been stuck for at least 3 hours between a panel under my!! McCombe's Body Shop payment charge was a promise to find a home for the kitten. I was relieved of my stress and filled with “tears of joy!!!” It couldn't get any better than that!! Thank you for your compassion , help and teamwork!”

“They have very good crane operaters here. They are kind and helpful. Only thing i hate is 4 hrs minimun. Most of my jobs can be done in 30 mins. Kinda understandable because those equipment are real expensive.

“I took my old beater to Wise Auto after the alternator went out. Andy is an excellent, detail oriented mechanic who has a high standard for the quality of parts that he uses. He was willing to take the time to give me a thorough overview of the repairs that were made, but also honest with me about the cost/benefits of putting more $$ into it to keep it on the road longer. And it's still running to this day!
It is a small, family-owned operation so service completion can take some time if they are busy, but Andy and his wife, Sherry, would call to give me updates as diagnostics and repairs were being made.”

“We needed a tow and didn't know what to expect but it was an extremely easy pleasant process!The gentleman that answered the phone was great, he gave an estimate of an hour and said the driver would give us a call when he was on the way.The driver called earlier than expected and he was a nice guy.He drove the car up onto the tow truck and dropped it off at the dealership.He even walked in to give us the keys even though we were on our way out to him the moment we saw him.It was way easier than I ever imagined getting a tow would be. I however am a person who takes ownership of my mistakes or situations and went in without having an attitude. Nor did I project any hostility toward individuals who deal everyday with angry people. You get what you give in this life. If you don’t like the road you are currently on don’t take it out on others just doing their job.
