Staff is very friendly but they could use more employees.
I have been trying to call over multiple days and the phone hasn't been answered when I call. Someone answered today and tickets to the event I was calling about were sold out 😠bummer. I tried to call multiple times which I can support with phone records.
I know in person would have been better but I can't with my work hours and now my kid will miss out. Rather disappointed.
Perhaps more employees would allow calls to be answered.

Love being a resident of Brook Park! They do so much for the community. My family truly enjoys all of the activities they host at the rec center.

I would give it a couple mores stars but the bigger lady that collects the money is by far the rudest person ever. She is rude to the parents. She is VERY mean to the children. On 3 occasions this past summer I heard her getting into an argument with a parent. She should not be working with the public especially the children

The water park is great for kids. It's like a fancy splash pad with a water slide. The water is only 2 feet deep (maybe 3 at the deepest point). My son is 11 and enjoyed playing football in the water with a bunch of other boys. Everyone was really friendly. The lifeguards were super nice and helpful as well. Our city doesn't have a pool, so this was a nice treat for us. The snack bar is basic but kept us sustained for a few hours. Very reasonably priced.

The water park is an amazing destination tailored for children aged 12 and below. Its gently sloping walkout feature ensures that even young beginners can fully engage and delight in the water activities!

It's, by far, the most affordable places to exercise or have fun activities. The big reason for that though, is the place is old and needs updating. The indoor pool is closed and they don't have the amenities as many other rec centers or private gyms. It's still a nice place with a friendly staff.
