I didn't deserve to be treated like dirt. I shop DG all the time and this girl at counter has no customer service skills. She made sure she was rude no matter how nice people are being to her. She needs help. I'm not going to say her name or describe her. Y'all can figure out who the jerks are without customers telling you.

I had such a lovely experience at Dollar General thanks to Salem! I was wandering the aisles, trying to figure out what I needed for a last-minute dinner (grandkids decided to stop in on me last minute ha!) when I realized I’d forgotten my reading glasses in the car. This lovely young lady came right up and asked if I needed help, and let me tell you, she was a lifesaver! So kind and patient, she helped me find everything on my list. It’s rare to find such good customer service these days.

Be careful sending your fedex packages there. I had to argue with 2 associates, call one out by name because they signed for my package but said that was a lie and call fedex directly before they went OOPS we had right in front of us the whole time!

Dolla Dolla Bill Ya'll! ??? It's nice because they are so close to my home and they have some form of nearly everything. They're like an old general store. Soon, there will be one close to everyone's home. YAY RIGHT! I love their stores, their like convenience stores or corner markets, just no alcohol or tobacco. Actually, my DG sells a very limited selection of tobacco products. Alcohol someday soon, maybe ? I mainly go to my DG for a last-minute emergency item. Like a quick snack or cat food. Ya know, emergency items.

They had most of what we wanted. Some of the Easter candy was smashed, but overall decent selection for a random shopping stop.

No issues with the store but yesterday a cranky old bag lady parked beside me left her cart in the middle of the parking lot beside my truck. I ended up hitting it because I couldn't see it in my raised up truck so beware of lazy Betty's at this store!

The cashier was rude and very short tempered. I will not go back to that store.
