Most of the employees are wonderful. The prices are way lower than Giant Eagle and even Walmart (or so it’s rumored as I have never been in a Walmart). The best part is the close-out section! Nice bras for $3, reader glasses for .99 cents, assorted tools, glassware, toys, current holiday decorations and much more. Best way to describe it is an organized flea market inside a store. Every Marc’s location has this section. It’s not as nicely designed as Giant Eagle but I guess that’s why Marc’s prices are lower.

Great closeouts section - a true northeast Ohio gem. I'm glad they accept credit cards now. Don't expect to get through the checkout process quickly, though - they're not set up to be efficient, and they often seem to have too few cashiers. I usually end up going to customer service to pay because I only have a few things and don't want to wait 5 minutes. God help you if you end up in line behind an old lady writing a check - they should ban checks except for one of the checkout lines. Their cashiers also like to put ever 3-4 items in their own bag, and double or triple-bag it. Some locations have self-checkouts now, which help.

I had stopped coming to this store and started going to the one by Broadview and Snow (which used to be terrible but has improved quite a lot) -- I went back to this Ridge Park store on a Monday at around 7 PM -- obviously understaffed as only two of the twelve checkout lanes were open (that's just pathetic) and there was a line formed at customer service for people trying to check out. Get some self-service checkouts if you cannot keep staff on hand. What staff there was were doing their job. Also, my main complaint, bread aisle was wiped out, half the shelves were bare. Hot dog buns were gone except for Ballpark brand which I tried and found to be terrible at any price (and they were priced high) -- there's a reason that was all that was left on the shelves, I guess. Anyway, I'll be avoiding this store from now on.

It's the only place that we buy milk. Also sometimes they have deals on different products.

Produce and meat is usually bad quality. Several occasions meat has been bad even when it's before the use by date. Fruit is usually moldy. A lot of the cashiers will be on their phone or listening to their airpods while ringing you up.

Marcs is great I shop here over giant eagle or even Walmart due to the prices accessibility and shelves always stocked. But the main reason I shop here is because there closeout section, you can find just about anything from furniture to cheap toys,I could literally spend hours in the closeout section due to the number of items, sometimes if your lucky you may stumble on a major deal that could save you hundreds
