June 22, 2022 Spent $177.50 at Marc's on Center Road in Brunswick June 21, including a $48 purchase of Proctor & Gamble items. Ad offered a $15 instant rebate for a minimum of $45 worth of P&G goods. Had ad to show girl at checkout and asked what I needed to do to claim the rebate. Was told it would automatically come off. When total was higher than expected, I asked her again if the $15 had been taken off. She looked at her side of the register and affirmed it had, so I ran my credit card through. However, before leaving the store, I scanned my receipt, saw that there was no indication of a discount, and went directly to the Customer Service desk. Individual working desk claimed same situation had occurred earlier in the week, but that he was unable to assist me. He wrote down the corporate number 216-265-7700, on my receipt and said they'd be able to straighten out the problem. Since the office was closed by the time I got home, I had to wait until this morning. My call was transferred to Linda who proceeded to explain that I had not added the $15 coupon to my account properly. Apparently using the Marc's app I have loaded on my phone doesn't do it. I needed to go to the Marc's website. She stated that the only coupon I've ever redeemed was for 50 cents back in April. Either that was yet another lie, or I've lost out on multiple "savings" coupons worth far more than this $15. She refused to help me fix the problem, mockingly stating I couldn't expect her to just send out a gift card. Linda is quite the gem at providing "customer service!" I calmly stated that that's exactly what I expected which was followed by her refusal to do so. I thanked her for her "help", apologized for the "inconvenience", and hung up so I could load the P&G items back into my car. Took the time to document my experience, hoping that the management of Marc's realize how poorly their disrespectful and rude customer service reflects on them and how it affects the individuals who shop with them. Kindness , respect, and helpfulness are qualities corporate levels should try inserting into their employee training. Grocery stores are numerous. After returning yesterday's purchases, I will no longer be making my weekly trips to Marc's.

Nice and clean. Great people. Pharmacy isVery helpful. Long isles to walk but they have it all. The Deli needs to order more chicken that's roasted. They always run out. Please.

Great staff..always helpful, always friendly! This pharmacy does not have drive-thru. This store is moving to the left in the old k-Mart...maybe the pharmacy can have drive-thru in new store.
