Just look at the reviews for this place. I lost my job after my daughter constantly being sent home due to “behavior” , she is also in preschool for special needs and does PHENOMENAL there. I recently removed my daughter from this day care center on May 31st, when her teacher informed me the director was excessively aggressive with my daughter and slammed her on the black top outside. After the incident with my daughter , I have found out so much more. This picture is a recent investigation through ODJFS. Hoping more comes out of this. Absolutely disgusting.

My infant grandson is left in a stroller for 5 hrs a day, and is taken into unauthorized areas because they lack adequate staff to meet the state mandated ratios. It’s abuse to keep a child physically confined for that long. Plus, he should NEVER be in the kitchen because there is no one to watch him. The director prevents staff from adequately handling medical issues such as seizures or fevers, by reprimanding them if parents or 911 are contacted. Some staff, who are not in managerial or supervisory positions, are permitted to overstep boundaries and make degrading verbal comments to other staff, that are out of line and completely inappropriate. The behavior specialist, which isn’t even there 10 hrs a week, refuses to follow state guidelines even though daycares are required to do so. To her, passing tablets with games to play seems sufficient, instead of, redirection and direct interaction. Clearly, the lack of policies and procedures or structure, with a qualified director, shows. There is a reason the turnover rate is so high. Next time you drop off your kids, request state ration mandates and ask how many kids and teachers were in your kids classroom. I’m sure you won’t be happy with answer. This place should not be operating.

I have been lucky enough to have both of my children attend Wonder Years Childcare and I have had nothing to complain about. The staff is phenomenal. Caring, nurturing, prompt and helpful to the children and the parents. They make sure they make lasting relationships with children and parents. The kids have so much fun and learn so much. During unfortunate times of the pandemic and the aftermath of it all they still strive to take the best care of the children that they can. Environment is clean and well kept and the toys, furniture etc. is all up to date and organized. I recommend Wonder Years Childcare 100%.

My school age daughter has attended Wonder Years since preschool and loves it. The staff has always been amazing with her and she loves every single one of them. My newborn is now attending as well and I couldn’t be more pleased and at ease knowing she’s in good hands.

My children have been attending Wonder Years Childcare since they were each 6 weeks old! The care the staff for each child is amazing! They know things specific to my child and are very personable! The staff is amazing and has always been great about informing me of things that are going on. I would HIGHLY recommend this center to ANYONE. I recently moved from Brunswick to Medina and will go out of my way to keep my kids here since I love it so much! Never once do I worry about their safety or well being!

My daughter has been going to Wonder years since she was 2 1/2 years old. SHE LOVES EVERYONE THERE!!!! Kellea the Director is amazing. She really makes you feel comfortable about the care your child receives. She has become part of our family. My daughter started out in the toddler room and is now 9 years old in the school age room. I would not have my daughter go anywhere else. She even goes for their summer camp - which let me tell you, is SO GREAT! They have such amazing summer activities planned. I do not have to worry about my daughter having a boring summer since I must work. I want her to be a kid and that is what she gets to be at Wonder Years.Kimberly M.

We recently moved to the area and were recommended to Wonder Years by family. Our son goes part-time 2 days a week and it's outstanding the social skills and overall growth he has gained from attending. The staff is always warm and friendly - I feel very secure leaving my son in their care.
