“Me and my husband came for my birthday weekend. This was our fourth time coming to the castle, we love it. This is our tradition for my Birthday every year. We will be back soon, the staff is every courteous, wonderful, sweet.”
“Went for music, had a great time. Lovely venue. Food options were limited, but what we got was ok. I don't think they're trying to be a sit down restaurant, at least not on the night we went, or the part of the building we were in. No table service waiters/waitresses. Got our drinks as needed ourselves at the bar, got food in another room and carried it back to our table. Service and staff, such as it was, was great. If I'm making it sound bad, I don't mean to. We had a great time, and 100% would go back to for a music event.”

I ordered six crepes. That’s right, SIX. Not because I was starving. Not because I lost a bet. But because when food tastes like a hug from your childhood and a French kiss from heaven, you don’t stop at one.
Each crepe was thin, soft, buttery, and folded like the gods themselves pressed them by hand. The strawberries? Fresh and juicy, not that frozen cube nonsense. Topped with whipped cream so airy it could float off your plate and into your dreams.
But the real MVP?
Mrs. Betty.
This woman didn’t just serve food. She served joy. Sweet as can be, always smiling, fast with the coffee refill, and somehow knew exactly when I needed more napkins without me saying a word.
She’s the kind of waitress who makes you want to be a better man.”

“We recently received a gift card to Peter Allen Inn from a friend who grew up in Greenville with her family in the '60's enjoying dining at the Allen House on special occasions and as a thank you for my sort-of 'rescuing' their family car dealership's building signage from a barn, she thought this would be a neat gift. It was! We live in Kent so it was a drive, but we were bowled over by the beauty of the place, and our lunches were excellent. We were seated and waited on by two twins. I'm sorry I can't recall names but we were taken good care of. My wife said if we lived closer, she would hang out here! We'll be back.”
