Dollar General is a business that often faces staffing challenges, leading to issues with product availability and customer service. Despite these difficulties, the stores are generally clean and accessible. The addition of self-checkout has been a welcomed improvement. While the staff is usually friendly, there are concerns about the level of protection offered to employees. Overall, customers report mixed experiences, with some feeling acknowledged and others feeling overlooked due to the skeleton crew.
People are usually pretty nice but usually understaffed. Adding the auto check out was a big improvement. There is not enough protection offered to the employees.
