First time coming into this store today, as every store you go into with a plastic bag or your stuff, I asked if I should leave the bag upfront. So I can grab it on my way out when I'm done shopping. The guy at the register says yes so I did . And I go about shopping the aisles for a few things before they're closing. I'm not sure what the reasoning was , but the whole time I was picking my items from different aisles , it was about 6 items , the employee continues to watch directly behind me , following me to every aisle as I went. I'm confused why that's the case ? Was it because of my tattoos on my arm ? Or because my skin was darker than normal, or simple rasicm.... Because that wasn't the case with every other customer that came in and it was multiple. Whatever it is, Dollar General do better when you're hiring. Because you lost me as a customer at this location simple because of the way I was treated and because of how your employee acted. My first time being in this establishment. And this was July 17th, Wednesday, 2024 around 8:45 pm and it was 2 males working. One of them were mainly outside, but the main culript called in the reinforcements so he can " watch " me shop my $10 worth of house hold items. Hope you guys take this review seriously because I feel sad that others also go through this and have to deal with these kind of people.

People are usually pretty nice but usually understaffed. Adding the auto check out was a big improvement. There is not enough protection offered to the employees.

Stopped in to get water. Store was clean and easily accessible but skeleton staff until I was leaving. That young lady acknowledged me. Felt imvisible in the store

Bought a couple gift cards. 2 were not activated. Couldn't be bothered to help. Do not expect competent workers.

I was in this store today and was very disappointed in the music chosen. Playing music with profanity in is, is not appropriate for public business. I will not return.

Came here to pick a few things, all the self checkouts did not accept cash so I waited at a manual register that had a "ring bell for service sign" for over 10 minutes and never was waited on or saw an employee the entire time. I left my things and walked out but anyone could have just walked away with whatever they wanted. I get maybe an employee was in the back busy but how am I supposed to shop there with cash?

The absolute filthiest store I've ever seen. The floor was mopped with toilet water. Dirt everywhere, even on food products, just filthy. Boxes and trash everywhere, not just once, ALWAYS!
