A friend and her young child were stranded when their car stalled on the highway. While sitting on the off-ramp with traffic flying by, we tried calling her insurance company and got stuck in an automated system quoting $400 for a tow, no human, no urgency, and no help in a stressful situation.

I searched for a local company and called Pine Tree Towing. Ron (owner) was honest from the start. When I asked if he had a mechanic nearby (they tow to), he said he didn’t and even offered to refer us to another company. That level of transparency immediately stood out. I asked his rate, and he gave us a flat price that was half of what the insurance company quoted. They also accepted Venmo, which made things much easier.

Mike, the driver, arrived quickly and was professional, calm, and genuinely kind. He invited me to sit in his warm truck as a winter storm approached and handled the tow efficiently on a narrow off-ramp. He went above and beyond to make a stressful situation feel manageable.

This experience was a reminder that real people still matter. Ron and Mike showed up when it counted, treated us fairly, and didn’t take advantage of a difficult moment. I can’t recommend Ron & Mike's company enough!”

“Jim was a super nice guy ! My husband got stuck on the side of the highway, and when Jim arrived he quickly got the car hooked up, even hooked up the battery so it could charge enough to get the car off the truck, ( our alternator went out so the battery kept dying ). He was a pleasure to be around, told us how he knows the lady who used to live in our house, told us about golf balls we have found in the yard. It was great to chat with him. And he referred us to someone to rebuild the alternator, rather than spend an arm and a leg to purchase a new one. Highly recommend Jim with H&K towing!”
