“I took in my 2003 Ford Ranger that had a clutch pedal that would not fully release clutch at times. Silver creek Repair test drove truck for a few miles that showed no problem with clutch. I then drove it and confirmed that all was working fine. Silver creek did not charge me at all and I drove it home knowing I don’t need a $1300 clutch. Once home I checked on clutch cable that had some corrosion and lubricated with wd40 at corrosion part of cable.
Don’t know if this will help preventing any future cable problem cable sticking but I have to thank Silvercreek for their honesty by not putting in a clutch that was not needed. Silvercreek Repair needs to me complimented for their honesty and integrity!

My life. Up here taking care of my mom and brother. Something went wrong with my car and I needed it work on asap. The earliest I could have gotten in was on Thursday or Friday in other shops. These guys got in right away. Like the same day I called. At first, I was a little optimistic, taking a BMW to a regular garage but after meeting Ryan and talking with alan, I had full confidence in them fixing my car in record time. They were always upfront and would call me about things that they found during the inspection. Parts came in a little sooner than they expected. They have my car up and running and heading back to Georgia real soon. Thanks to these guys. It was a very expensive repair. It was a little over half of what the dealership would’ve charged me. So I was thrilled when he sent me the estimate that was the other amazing thing, His estimates and final price was only different by a couple of dollars . When you walk in, they have a welcoming smile a very pleasant disposition and I would highly recommend these guys for any of your automotive needs. “My car started getting very hard to shift between gears. I finally set up an appointment at the Akron location when it began having issues actually showing what gear it was in. I'd go to start it and it would show park on the dash, but wouldn't crank at all and I'd have to shift to reverse then back to park to get it started.
Within 2 business days, Waterloo transmission had it diagnosed as the transmission range sensor causing all of the issues. They had the part ordered and replaced it. I was amazed at how smooth and simple it is to move the shifter now. I'm going to need to train my body to be more gentle when putting it into different gears because I just about ripped the shifter off putting it into park when i got home. Apparently I was way more accustomed to the difficult shifting for longer than I thought.
If I ever need transmission service in the future, Waterloo Transmission is my new go-to shop!”
