“My name is Marmi the Griot and I had the pleasure of working with pipes and pleasures for a curated Poetry Caviar event Men Do Poetry Too Volume One. From the beginning the owner was very hospitable and eager to support our event. The other employees carried that same spirit. In the end, as an inexperienced smoker, they assisted myself and my guests with cigar selections and even personal education on lighting.
Additionally, I am a supporter of Black owned businesses and especially Black
Woman owned businesses that operate with excellence and offer great customer service. I would recommend Pipes & Pleasures to any event planners looking for a cool, intimate, space. My event only required space for 20
Guests, my DJ, a vendor, as well as others on my team working merchandise and front door, but I’m sure they can accommodate larger parties as well. I hope to work with Pipes & Pleasures again in the future and you should consider them for your next event.”
