“I love shopping here to see what's new. The consignment inventory is carefully selected, changes frequently, and is always a good value. In addition, Sam makes shopping here a fun experience.”
“This art boutique made me feel transported to an art gallery along the left bank of the Seine River in Paris. It is fresh, fun and full of the creative renderings fueled by the muses of the amazingly talented innovative artist and proprietor.”
“Love the ambiance here. There's an art gallery upstairs full of local art. Downstairs they have an intimate theater where talented individuals tell stories and musicals come to life. Godspell was so good that I saw it TWICE! Absolutely worth checking out :)”
“Outstanding job at working with us to repair damages from our mover , to a signed and numbered print . Has a wonderful selection of mattings and frames and the work was done quicker than I expected. The customer service and friendly attitudes made it a great experience and I have more projects with other artwork I have will be using them for . Highly recommended ! !”
“The Canton Museum of Art (CMA) is one of Northeast Ohio's premier cultural destinations, celebrated for its exceptional collection of 19th, 20th, and 21st-century American works. Its primary strength lies in its world-class watercolors and original ceramics, showcasing the delicate fluidity of American painting alongside the raw, tactile beauty of industrial-inspired pottery. The museum’s programming often highlights regional talent, blending national historical significance with the unique creative spirit of the Midwest.
Visiting the CMA feels like entering a vibrant sanctuary of color. In the stillness of winter, the vivid watercolors offer a warmth that stone and steel cannot provide. I felt a deep sense of local pride and inspiration; the museum proves that profound, world-class art doesn't just belong in giant metropolises. It is a testament to the enduring human need to create, offering a quiet, beautiful space for the community to reflect, connect, and dream.”
“Seven years ago Rob Hankins took Canton by storm and transformed the downtown area with art and music. What had been a dilapidated, ghost town is now alive with energy, restaurants and activity. He joined ArtsinStark with the Chamber of Commerce and they work together to raise a 3 million dollar anual budget. They receive no government support and conduct an annual Arts Campaign for this 42-year-old foundation. ArtsinStark awards grants, 92 cents of every dollar goes back into programs and the monthly First Friday celebrations which feature many art galleries in the district. Galleries include: Journey Second April Acme Artists The Color Shoppe Sue Steiner Pets and many indivial artists who rent space in these and other galleries. Also music, food and dancing. Mr. Hankins also works as a talented event planner and public speaker. People are moving downtown and hope springs eternal!”
