The worst customer service I've ever had in my life. Damien was very unprofessional and rude. He over charged me for my rental. Whatever you do don't go to budget car rental on Tuscarawas Rd in Canton, Ohio. Damien is known for being very argumentative with black women only. When I tried to explain to him why I didn't want to extend my rental for an extra day because of my trip shortened just to have conversation with him he responded that's not my problem. Budget car rental needs to give their employees better customer service training. When he tried to over charge me and I said something to him about the charges he snatched the paper work from me and said I'll correct it but just so you never will come back here ever again and told me to go to the airport to get my rentals in the future. I've never in my life had this type of treatment from any business. And It's very disturbing that this man treats women this way. How disrespectful he is to women is very disturbing.

I’ve retuned rentals at this location twice and both times I’ve received charges after retuning the vehicle. It wasn’t a cleaning fee, smoking fee, or anything pertaining to the vehicles condition upon returning. I contacted Budgets customer service and got those charges reversed HOWEVER this has happened twice within the span of a month and a half and both times the billing agents couldn’t find a valid reason for these charges.With my most recent interaction I retuned a my rental on time and 3 days later I had Loss Prevention contacting me & trying to charging me $1100 for a vehicle that I had already returned. When I went into the location to figure out what was going on the person I spoke with had no clue why the vehicle wasn’t in the inventory when it’s sitting on their lot and I was told that they would have the owner would reach out. I’m writing this review the following day and I still have yet to get a call from Damion who is the manager. The crazy thing is he’s the person I gave the keys to when I returned my rental. The manager isn’t the friendliest and you can tell he sets the tone for the rest of their staff because their customer service is not the best. I would avoid this location at all costs if you want a smooth car rental experience because mine have been everything but that.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish!! The staff is phenomenal and I couldn’t be more thankful for the gentleman behind the desk who upgraded me to the most beautiful jeep for my family vacation! I will never get a rental from anywhere else! I love this place!!

I really wanted to give 5 stars ?...but here's my suggestion. Be kinder to your customers, I know it's difficult dealing ?? with customers at a time. So hire an assistant, so the main guy doesn't burn out! Mental Health Matters!

I drove about 60 miles to Canton to pick up a rental through Uber. When I got there the car had been wrecked and I was told by the staff that I could take it or leave it. I paid the $300 upfront for a week of rental I paid every Thursday ever since then and all of a sudden six weeks ago I start being charged twice once for upfront charge next for a pre-authorization charge, and was told this was not being done but indeed it was. the worker at that location is very mean very ruse very unprofessional. When I return the car on a Thursday, I was at zero but all of a sudden I started getting all kind of charges in my account and it is now overdraft to my bank account and Avis refused to take the charger off saying that it's standard. I needed to wait 14 business days for the charges to come off of my bank account. This is truly been a disaster. Never rent from Avis.

Thanks to the man who helped us get on the road!! Would recommend to anyone we know returning was simple we washed it cleaned it out and returned it the same way we got it.. thanks again

The black man behind desk is very rude!!!Overall, my experience with Budget Car Rental was deeply disappointing due to the disrespectful behavior of the manager and the lack of organization. I strongly advise other potential customers, especially veterans, to consider alternative car rental options until Budget Car Rental demonstrates a commitment to providing respectful and satisfactory customer service.

Awesome experience from start to finish! And they are open Sundays! Owner was friendly and more than accomodating! Got a great price on an upgrade and couldnt have been happier! I live in Alliance but it was worth the trip to Canton to pick up car! Will def be back!

I called this place just to ask some basic questions about renting a car. this guy did not seem like he wanted to speak to any people at all. all of his answers was YEAH AND NO. these types of businesses i try to avoid because thy make the customer feel like they don't need their business. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!! Only thing they expected upon return was a full tank and no smoking.No problem. Then they charge a cleaning fee upon return.Ok.I might have left a candy bar wrapper on the front seat and probably snow that melted on the floor. DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET!

I wasn't able to get the car I was supposed to get and they charged me a upcharge fee and the car I had to get wasn't fully cleaned but going to tell me I will have to pay 450$ cleaning fee for a little bit of dog hair and poor customer service
