TLDR: if you’re reading this review and looking to apply in their pharmacy just know they will take a severely long time to get back to you with an answer and give you the runaround, please please look elsewhere.
Applied here for the pharmacy position and it took over six weeks to get back to me and all the other ones that wanted to hire me have hired and filled the positions. Their hiring managers name is Thomas Busek and the pharmacy manager Scott. I can’t help, but say you guys did me so unbelievably dirty by making me wait so long with no word back you should be ashamed of yourselves. Went ahead and called the other giant eagles that called me originally, and they said they filled all their positions. Absolutely appalled by how incompetent you guys were. They also lied to me in the interviews and asked me what I believe to be discriminatory questions such as: “how do you feel about working around all women as a man” and “how many kids do you have” then they had to google how far my area i lived in was just to make sure it wasn't “too far” (literally live 20 minutes away). They treated this job with multiple interviews as though it was a hire for the CIA When it literally pays 16 an hour as a pharmacy tech trainee. I’m not only hurt and furious Right now, but I’m considering taking legal action For the unreasonable And loss of job opportunities because of it.
Thomas, you are incompetent to do your job and have the least talent as a “talent acquisition manager”.
Read this beyond the scope of an upset google review - You did me so horribly wrong.
The only good and awesome person along this whole process was their Pharmacy manager - Bobby. Thanks for being nice and helpful when I originally called

This isn't my real name I use this to stay semi anonymous but this place is absolutely amazing they always make sure I have my medication every month even all thru the shortage when I know people who can't get them or their own kids medicine scripts filled I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants fast, reliable, and companionate care

Bobby the pharmacist is one of those kind people you will only meet in a small town. I watched him patiently walk through 10+ medications with my uncle and personally write down my uncle’s phone number to call him with more information. Bobby was unbelievably patient, respectful, and even cheerful. He deserves a lot of praise for his professionalism and kindness.

The service is so-so and the prices of obnoxious. A round watermelon, a bit smaller than a basket ball is $15! The vegetables look BAD and a 12 pack of soda pop is $8.79….$5 at WM. No thank you Giant Eagle.

Had to drop off an Rx for my pet - there was nobody in line, and they weren’t busy for a Tuesday afternoon. Took nearly an hour to get an antibiotic that should have taken less than 15 minutes to prep and deliver. Used to work in a pharmacy- it doesn’t take an hour to fill an Rx unless you have an incompetent team / Pharmacist working behind the counter. Won’t be back. I can go to Drug Mart and be in and out in 15 minutes - even with potential issues. This needs to be looked into as this isn’t good for business and I don’t like having my time wasted.

Giant Eagle is the best place to get a rotisserie chicken, the rotisserie chicken they have is well made and we'll cooked, the meat is wonderfully tender and enjoyable, yesterday for dinner I had rotisserie chicken and it was nice and tender well cooked, I highly recommend their rotisserie chicken, i hope this helps if you are thinking about getting a rotisserie chicken for the first time.

If I could give them a big fat ZERO I would. They are now requiring face masks again even if you've been vaccinated. I'm done with this stupid store and their stupid policies.
