My greatest regret was choosing this vet to visit. Read the other 1 star reviews. Dr. Killmer truly doesn't care. He rushed the appointment. He misdiagnosed my pet. He handled my pet too hard that it did injured my pet. He said he didn't have time to fully exam my pet; even though we told him before hand what tests we wanted to take and what issues we were concerned with when making the appt. This isn't a place that cares enough. He didn't even care enough for follow up appointment or talk about what to look for for other issues. You should have told us to go to a different vet clinic if you didn't care enough or tell me you don't know what you are doing. You shouldn't have acted everything was fine. I blame myself for not doing enough research about choosing a vet. I blame myself for not getting a second opinion. Killmer is not knowledgeable or experienced enough. This place isn't for pet check up and is NOT A SAFE place for them.

I have been taking our pets to Dr. Killmer for 5 plus years. He is an excellent vet, and his staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable. Dr. Killmer is very thorough with his exams and answers any questions I have. I know I can call if I have any questions. I highly recommend Hill-Crest Veterinary.

Vet was EXTREMELY RUDE and rushing as soon as I walked in the door with the animals. I walked in with two cats struggling to get the door open as 5 of them stood there and watched and started snapping at me after I shut the door. He got extremely frustrated I wasn’t understanding the Medical/veterinary language he was speaking to me and wouldn’t use the terms in a more understandable way (I’m not a vet that’s why I came to learn what’s going on with my animals lol). Constantly made rude comments after asking me questions and he didn’t like the answer or rudely suggested I do something else. Overall a horrible experience and everyone stared when I asked if something I did was wrong. Not one staff member was pleasant to me the second I walked in the door. Will not be going back and I do NOT recommend going here if you’re not 100% educated in veterinary medicine - this vet will make you feel stupid and horrible when you walk out of the door.

I like this vet. He's honest and reasonably priced. My wife started taking our dogs there, and I read the reviews first. Yes he told me my dogs were overweight, why? Because they are, fat, no. But def get table scraps. He would know the healthiest weight before I would. Nobody wants to hear the truth or accept responsibility, it's always someone else's fault, or they are rude when honest with somebody. I appreciate it! I have used other vets and had horrible nightmares with vets people sware by. I don't care what type of building it is, it's clean, it works, he cares, his employees care, it's not a money grab! What more could you ask for honestly. Thank you Hillcrest!

I took my dog here twice. We haven't lived in the area for a whole year yet and this seemed like a nice, family-oriented, small-town type of vet that would care for my dog well and be friendly to clients. Boy was I wrong. This man is rude, condescending and impatient. He was like this both times I took my dog here but much worse the 2nd time (last week). He blamed me for her stool not being solid and told me she is overweight. She's absolutely not overweight, you can feel her ribs but not see them which is how they're supposed to be. He also prescribed medication that didn't help her at all with her allergy problem and didn't tell me anything important to look for or if I should bring her back etc. I'll never take any animal of mine to this vet again!

This is the only veterinarian , I would never revisit. And that's the nicest thing I could say. In 51 years of visiting vet hospitals. I'll just leave that there. 4 28 23

We love hill crest hospital. Everyone there is great. We recently got a German shepherd pup and they have been SO helpful with the upbringing of a healthy dog. We went to a few bets and we're looking a heavy bills, but hill crest was straight with us from the start and doesn't add extra, unnecessary charges to our visit.
