I went in to buy my 9 yo daughter a new pair of shoes for school. She picked out which shoes she liked- I checked the tag and it said they were $40. I asked a woman in there for assistance, told her my daughter’s size and she got the pair of shoes for my daughter to try on. They fit, so we headed to the register to check out. Upon check out, I was told they are $64.. which is not what they were marked. She told me the price increases with shoe size, however this policy is not posted in the store from what I saw. It was super sleazy to at no point mention this during the process- especially since we had someone helping us. Beware of the practices of this location.

I don’t usually post reviews, but my experience at Journey’s Kidz was so terrible, I feel I needed to share. A few weeks ago I purchased roughly $135 worth of shoes (3 pairs) for my daughter. The woman who helped me select the shoes was not overly friendly, but she was fine. She told me which brands ran small and which ran large. Unfortunately my daughter is a very hard fit and none of them ended up working out. Yesterday upon returning the shoes, I was absolutely blown out of the water with the lack of professionalism and pure rudeness I was met with. To begin, three woman were working and none of them greeted my family when we entered the store (we were the only ones in the store for our entire experience). Not a single one of them smiled. I stated I had a return, and I immediately received a dirty look by whom I believe was the manager. I was asked if I wanted to exchange, to which I replied no, because of the hard fit. One of the associates told me “well these run small and these run large if that changes your mind”. The complete opposite for each brand of shoe when I made the purchase. Once I said I would just be returning, the amount of sass and extreme rudeness that came from these 3 girls was ridiculous. Multiple and I mean multiple, huffs, eye rolls, and irritated glances came from the register associate and the manager. The two girls began to argue amongst themselves saying how this was going to hurt their sales/ commission. The manager told the register associate if she did not want to “take the hit” she should select another associate to do the return under. Nobody would make eye contact with me and the manager angrily put the boxes down and stomped into the back of the store, while playing on her phone. AT A KIDS STORE?! Wow!!!!!!! I will never return and I will never recommend anyone to do business at this store either.

Overcharged me for a pair of shoes. $54.99 price tag on the shoes charged me $64.99 to my card. Can not give me a refund over the phone, by looking up an invoice number. I have 6 grandchildren and will not be buying shoes from here. How many people do they rip off everyday?

I love the shoes and the great deals they have. You can order the shoes online but why do that when you can go in and get great customer service from a genuine person
