Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Received a check for payment from a customer after completing a job. The customer has an account at KeyBank so I went there to cash the check. I was told they do not cash checks from their customers unless the recipient has an account. I have never heard of such poor business!! Not only that, they are only open until 4:00 Monday through Friday. Terrible bank and I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to deal with this financial institution!!!

A bank is a greedy business so here how they did me I have an account that is now discontinued but when I was in the branch get my accounts in order because my son was in an unfortunate accident and is now paralyzed as I told the bankers who never once told me that my account could be switched to a hassle free checking account to avoid fees and my account wasn’t available technically any more but they knew I was dealing with a a very hard situation and they knew I mostly Likely make a mistake consoling how much time I spend at hospital trying to take care of my son plus I work so I’m up 18 a day so they purposely keep my on a account that would charge me a fee instead of switching to an account that would-not charge me a fee…. Greedy banks taking money from a women who has disabled child and they know it ?

I have called the branch seven times since June to get an issue resolved with an account. I have called during business hours and every time I get a recording that they can't answer the phone, to leave my name and number and they will call me back. It is now July 6th and they have never called me back. Apparently you don't want my business.

KeyBank is the absolute worst bank I have ever attempted to do business with. That being said, this is the WORST branch I've been to. Overall, the tellers and bankers are left completely powerless and unable to refund and of the ridiculously HIGH FEES that Key will charge you- especially if you're too poor to afford it, like me. Try running a business while having a KeyBank account? LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE! I sure wouldnt be in business much longer had I remained a KeyBank Client- as they consistently do a HORRIBLE job at completing even the simplest tasks. I would explain more but I've already given this disgustingly fraudulent bank way too much of my time. Do yourself a favor and AVOID KEYBANK AT ALL COSTS! Slow, Rude and OUT OF TOUCH!!

Let me begin by saying the staff have been very nice, this is a policy issue that seriously needs addressed. If you have ever had to deal with the fraud department then you probably will understand what I'm about to say. If you're looking for a bank I would continue to keep looking and maybe choose another institution.I recently sold my car to a very reputable company. I was issued a check that was filled out by the tow company driver who was contracted to pick up my car. I deposited the check at a KeyBank ATM and was able to get $100 out. The next I expected to go to the bank and pull some money out to take care of things. That did not happen. My online banking was restricted and when I called to check my balance off my ATM card, I wasn't able to and was sent to a customer service representative. I was told the fraud department put a 5 business day hold on the check and the only access I have to the account is to go to a branch. The customer service representative stated I had 2 options. I could wait the time or go to the branch the account was originated and the manager could lift the hold. I took proof of the sale and matching numbers on the check and in the email I provided along with the address and phone number for the maker of the check. I was told that he never lifts the holds, so basically it was a waste of my time. On a follow up phone call I was told that no phone calls are made to verify the check and that basically nothing is done and we just wait the time. How is this fraud protection when nothing is done other than to cause the customer a huge inconvenience and punish me for selling my car and depositing the check through the ATM. I don't feel like anyone has done anything to protect my account. Very very disappointed and don't feel I should be treated that way.

If I could give a negative number I would. First as a business customer who opened with the bank at the Key Bank branch in Canton South I was spoiled by OUTSTANDING customer service. Now due this branch manager at this location I am moving everything out of the KEY BANK. I repeat never bank here! First they double deposited a payroll check which went through twice. It effected my employee's account when I called the fraud line to dispute Key Bank for double dipping they put a hold on my employee account and it took the money from her. I received my money 10 days later. She still hasn't gotten her money back. She is at 21 days. Second issue from this location the ATM is always down. I deposited a nightly amount the ATM kicked back my checks but keep the money. The problem is the cash wasn't credited to my account nor did the ATM give it back. So the bank is in favor again of my money. This time is it hundreds of dollars. I tried to use my ATM card again thinking it would send the money back but it didn't which is good to know meaning my money was stuck. I called the very next morning to only have the branch manager "J". refuse to answer how my money got jammed into the ATM. I asked how to get it out she said call the 1800 fraud number refused to answer a single question... I called fraud only after a long 1.5 hour conversation I get stuck back into a 3 way with said branch manager "J" who now suddenly is "willing to help in anyway she can" since the fraud department had her on 3 way. As soon as I hung up with fraud dept. said "J" (lets just drop the manager because that title is reserved for working people who provide service to customers not this "J". anyway she calls me back and passes me off to another supervisor/manager. Who seemed to be on top of things. I explain the whole story again, explain the ATM issues needs to be looked into and Asked how I am going to get my money. She listens and said she will look into it. That was 18 days ago. At this point I have no money. This is fraud from a bank. How do you report a bank stealing money? "J" still refused to even answer simple questions like? What happens to the money that gets jammed? It's been 18 days who collected the money... is Diebold at fault? They services the machines but do you know they don't own the ATM? The branch does! That means this branch owns the rights and is responsible for the ATM. So why not answer my question where is my money? This bank branch is refusing to give me my money from their ATM. The person responsible is at the WEST TUSCARAWAS LOCATION Which I will now call pass off_take no responsibility "J". What would you do if this was your money still in a ATM? the bank fines anyone at a simple error but when they take money from you, you can't do anything against them. I have been able to go to the next person above the 2nd supervisor so I hope that helps. Working at the 3rd chain of command I will keep you posted. As far as this branch to bank at stay far far away from this one. If your looking for a company who will not take your money bank somewhere else. If I don't receive my money ASAP I will be emailing every person listed on the Corporate company directory. Letting them know this branch stole my money. In my option "J" should be terminated.

Horrible customer service from start to finish. They sent a letter with a phone number to call, then said that's not where I was to call. Transferred numerous times, runaround. Tried to get a power of attorney, which they said would take 7-10 days. That was at least a month ago and they are still screwing around with it. Bank anywhere but here.
